I got a lovely frame of nephews, deceased brot and myself done recently. It was a wedding. However it is set you know as to sit on the wherever you want to.

I however want to hang mine up but definitely nowhere on the back of the frame to hang it. Is there a way or would I need to bring it to a "framer". If there is such. Thanks

If it's made of wood, you could get a couple of screw eyes from a hardware shop, screw them in, and attach a piece of string.
I once bought some round stickers with a hook on the sticks on the back, you can also buy those little screws specially made for that purpose. We have done that with a lot of photos on the wall up the stairway.

bookie - I would be nervous to do that myself as the frame was quite expensive. And really don't know what a screw eye is - would that be when your eye turns in LOL
Question Author
sam where would I get those.
The screw-in eyes are easy enough to fit. You then just string a piece of wire between the two. The whole lot (with the wall hangers too) only costs a quid:

Or you could attach a couple of hooks to the top of the frame:

thanks buen - first link looks a wee bit too complicated but may try the second link from B&Q - the only thing I would worry about is I may try to screw too hard cos I am like a bull in a china shop.

How could I go about gently doing it. Thanks very much Have to go now - will look in later. bye

^^^^ screw too hard and pierce the glass.
There should be no risk of piercing the glass. You screw the fittings into the (outer) frame, not to the backboard behind the picture.
Perhaps you have a kind, friendly neighbour/relative who would do the job for you? It really doesn't need a professional (and expensive) framer to do it.
