Having changed my computer I have had to create a new Xmas card address list on an Open Office spreadsheet - senility must be getting to me as I have found nothing to create mailing labels like the old system I had which came ( I think ) from Works 2000 on my old computer. Can anyone recommend a mail merge program for producing labels that is simple to use which I can download, even if I have to pay for it.

You may look at some on-line templates for Open Office here:
http://templates.services.openoffice.org/en/search?search_api_views_fulltext=labels&sort_by=created&sort_order=ASC

Scroll down for some Avery labels. Hope this helps.
Open Office has a mail merge feature. Open a new document in Open Office Writer, select Tools and scroll down and select Mail Merge Wizard.
OpenOffice does have its own 'Label' producing facility.
Open a Text page, then click on File, then New. A side box will appear and you can then go down and pick 'Labels'.
