Err indoors got a load of trap from 3 teenage *** riding on the pavement whilst she was walking the dogs. "Get out of the effing way etc" - wish I was there I'd kicked the rissoles clean off their bikes. Makes my blood boil.

Sorry Khandro at 11:01 that is a silly post - they shouldn't even be on the pavement in the first place ! I've just got back in for a dog walk and twice we had to avoid lycra clad and helmeted morons speeding along the pavement as if they had the divine right ! I was absolutely chuffed to bits when an irate Dad with his little boy in tow told them off as they sped past !...

Damn savages...
you should be up here - its commonplace for cyclists to ride over red lights and on pavements, you can't stop them, for fear of abuse or worse, actual assault. I have been nearly run over three times in as many weeks because of these bloody idiots.
Avengers assemble!
carry a stout walking stick & shove it in their spokes as they go past
would love to do that, but my luck is the bstard would fall in the road and get run over.
A win-win then, emmie.
I agree - cyclists in London particularly are so aggressive and extremely dangerous.
NJ, it might be a win win, but it would be my fault, and id end up in jail most like.
I have actually asked a policeman this question because it is still illegal and all he said was that they can't 'police it any more' !! No police on the beat now which would help. I am sick and tired of cyclists speeding past me on narrow pavements when I didn't even know they were there in the first place ! Pavements are dangerous places now what with bikes and those ruddy scooters .....
On the rare occasions that I ride my bike - not on pavements but on paths used by walkers & cyclists I always ring the bell when coming up behind someone. I think it's still law to have a bell but most don't.
ah those bloody e scooters, and e bikes, what a pain. You can't hear them till they are up close and personal.... and by that time they have nearly crashed into you.
Unfortunately 'the law' is broken and all but unfixable thanks to budget cuts, lying politicians and experts.
i know that the police have caught out many illegal e scooters, but now there are legal one for hire. You just can't win if you are a pedestrian.
What a strange place to post a trivial grumble....
.........."Wish I was there I'd kicked the rissoles clean of there bikes".........
...................................Dream on Paper Tiger..........................................
if you have been sworn at and almost killed by one of these nutters then its not trivial.

10:02: JTT: "What a strange place to post a trivial grumble.... " - where should I post it oh wise one?
Chatterbank would be a better place for your impotent fist-shaking.
I am not sure quite why you felt that AnswerBank needed to know that this trivial event had occurred *whatever* section you chose to use.
