I've split my roof aerial , in the living room , with an ordinary splitter from Screw Fix
One cable from the splitter is in the living room
Another cable goes up into the bedroom at the back of house , where there are two other splitters , taking a cable into the other back bedroom and a further cable into the front bedroom .
I can get good digital pictures in the living room and in both back bedrooms on built in , freeview televisions
However on the TV in the front bedroom , it is only picking up digital and analogue pictures , on BBC channels only .
Would adding a £ 10 booster from ASDA , in the front bedroom , likely to solve problem - or what would you suggest ?
Perhaps the television with the poorer reception is just less sensitive than the others. Possibly a problem with the cable being used to feed it. Have you tried swapping cables around to see if the same thing happens.
You'd be more likely to solve the problem by replacing the first splitter at the bottom of the cable with a 2 way distribution amp. (though ideally you'd put a 4 way amp near top of the aerial and run all cables from there)
