My dishwasher has started to not wash the dishes in one quarter of the lower tray, the front left The filter etcet is clean, there isn't any obstruction and the arms are not blocked and rotate freely. The dishes get wet and hot so there does seem to be some water getting to the dishes. Any suggestions please?

mmm, hot here, and it is my annual day at The Cricket. Fortunately it looks as if I am in a grandstand under cover. I hope everyone survives the heat, the jungle drums etc. It'll be snowing soon enough.
oh poop, I've just discovered a tiny hole in the bottom of the door seal of my washer...good job I didn't do any clicking on the garden site yesterday. I know it is possible to diy but I'm not doing it. I'll give my local machine man a call, he's very reasonable, no call out charge but it's 10 & half years old and I'm not spending a lot on it.
It's oh poop here too ..I've just broken me garden brolly .The bit where you put it into the pole and lever it up has snapped orf .
It's clouded over a bit now anyway but still very warm but I like sitting under it .Apart from which it shields me from óther sorts of poop .
Hope you can get your washer fixed Robinia .I think they can just fit a new door seal .
Hope all Biddies are Ok today .Enjoy the cricket Jno.

wow Robi, 10 years is a good long time. All of mine have developed something terminal around the 7-8 year mark. What were you looking at on greenfingers?
ooh, I've come in, I was trying to do a bit of snipping but it's awful close...and then I got bitten in the crook of my arm. If I die from septicemia please go out and buy flit and spend the rest of your lives waging war on mozzies....grrr.

Come on now shaney, fess up, you got a bit too enthusiastic pole dancing didn't you? :)

Woofy my last washer, a zanussi, lived for 16 years without a single problem! It was brilliant, I loved it. This one is an LG.
I started off on greenfingers looking at a silly ornament...and then I kept seeing a million other things I'd like. Some lovely solar lights on there for starters.
Lol....my pole dancing ( and any dancing ) days are over I think .
My washer's still going strong .It's about fourteen now and I say a little prayer to the washing machine genie every time I switch it on .
Ooh no ..bites aarghh......Ice pack ..quick .
haha, I always thank my appliances when they've done a good job...are we slightly mad?
Ice pack's present and correct since I came in...in fact it's thawing, I'll have to swap it for a fresh one....please, please freezer, keep on keeping on. :)

moans tooooooo hot..........
moans back. Quite agree. I have just managed to sit in the garden for about 10 minutes. There was a storm and thundering in the distance a few hours ago and the sun got hazy. Ten minutes later the sun came out again!!

Curry for dinner (one I made a month or so ago from the freezer, so all I have to do is heat it up and cook some rice.

I watched Sharpe on television this afternoon and kept thinking about him in a dress, makeup and long blonde hair. Gorgeous man!!
It's not a nice heat at all. I'm fighting to stay awake, I know if I fall asleep I'll feel horrible. This arm's gonna be horrible, right whopper of a bite it is...bloody thing. I just wanted to do a bit of dead heading, it's mowing day tomorrow so I don't have to worry about picking any snippings up....pee po belly bum.
I'm back. We went to San An (oooh) cos hija wanted to buy some new clothes and they have better and cheaper shops there. She bought a glittery union flag (without the white) which looked OK, then a leopardskin corset (gets worse doesn't it!) but that also looks fine with jeans. Ate at an Italian place whoich is usually nice but they muddled up my order gave me bolognese instead of clams on my spag, so had to wait while they cooked a new one, which was awful, tasteless. We dropped her at home at 4pm to get ready for partying (yes the tooth is better) and we nipped to Es Cana cos I've been moaning about not going out but had one Swedish (apologies to the Germans it's not theirs) Kopperberg strawb and lime cider with a fizzy water, then it was boring as onloy footy on in bar so we came home, where I've done washing. In bedroom now watching xfactor.
My new washing machine is a 7kg smeg, seems Ok but takes ages on a 40o normal but I guess that's cos it takes much more water. I only use the 30o half hour wash. I loved my zanussi but after 4yrs it caught fire underneath and I didn't even know. Luckily it's out in a laundry room in the garden, just wouldn't work one day so when Mr N had a look it was all black underneath and the floor all burnt! Washing machines last about 5yrs here!!
Neti, how is Hija going to wear a flag!! On her head perhaps ;o)
My washing machines average about 10/12 years, except for one, which was useless, but came free. I know a lot of people moan about Hotpoint, but mine has never given me any grief in the last five or six years.
Yes sorry lottie dress of course.

I,'ve tried nearlyevery make of machine here, still prefer the zanussi, but see what one is on offer at the time with immediate delivery.
My brother has just brought me a huge bag of fruit and veg .Another whopping courgette,a mahoosive cucumber ,tomatoes ,runner beans and a bunch of grapes .Bless.
I'll look like a bloomin'courgette soon !
All my appliances are Bosch .The new fridge ,washer and dishwasher .
The two Hotpoint ones I had ( a dishwasher and a washing machine ) both conked out one day after the guarantees ran out .
That cider is nice Neti .We buy the Rekorderlig ones .I put it in a jug and add fruit and ice .Lovely .

I am staying off fruit and veg for the mo. I have beautiful apples and asparagus in the fridge, ordered before the stomach played up but am playing safe.
I got rained on at The Cricket - I used to work with a nice chap who's a member of the MCC because his father (who was a spymaster) put him down at birth. He still gets in touch every year and asks if I'd like a day spent watching gentlemen in white clothes running around on green grass, and I always say yes. I was undercover but arranged to meet him nearby at lunchtime, at which point it came over all thundery and I got a bit damp. But the roof on the stand protected me the rest of the day and it got fine and sunny again.

7kg smeg, that sounds like my spag bol.
Oight, oight everbody. Hoping for some sleep tonight. There is a bit of a breeze coming through the window!!
There's not a breath of wind here .
I know we've had too much rain but a sharp shower would be very welcome if only to freshen the air .
This was us today
