My dishwasher has started to not wash the dishes in one quarter of the lower tray, the front left The filter etcet is clean, there isn't any obstruction and the arms are not blocked and rotate freely. The dishes get wet and hot so there does seem to be some water getting to the dishes. Any suggestions please?

That was a good storm. The clouds came in from three directions and met over the top of our house!! I love storms. Meggie Dog doesn't give a jot which surprises me.

humid and showery here. How can I now have a half full attic, a half full spare room and a bulging garage from the contents of my attic? AND I gave a carload away?
Sloshing it down here now ... stair rods ..thunder and lightning .
aaatttchhooo!

I wouldn't have minded being in a bad mood if I'd felt like doing something to work it off. No idea what this cold/snuffles is but I feel grotty. I've watched rubbish tele and a soppy film this afternoon.
Shaney have you seen there's a new New Tricks series starting on Monday?...10 parts!
Neti there was a Mrs B's Boys but it was a repeat...it was funny. I didn't like it when it first showed but I've got into it now.

oh, booger now the storm's here too...it's been thundering quite a lot but no rain until now.
That storm seems to be on its Biddie rounds!!

Thank you for the New Tricks heads up, have set the sky box to record. I really hope it doesn't thunder here..its hard work dealing with Shughy and I hate to see him panic. Its getting cooler again as well which is nice. I think I'll have hot dinner.
Well .what a downpour ..it's brightening up again now ..
Yes I saw that in the RT Robinia ..make the most of it ...
Amanda is bowing out and James Bolam has already decided it's his last appearance in the series .

RIP Neil Armstrong.
Yep, a name that all us Biddies will never forget. A period of history we lived through.

It's quite weird to think of stuff that happened in our lifetimes as "history" isn't it? Or is that just me. The thunder missed us thank goodness. Oigh oight
Yes indeed . He made history .I remember watching the moon landings .

I read another obit today of Ruth Mott ..she was that lovely old gal in the wrap around pinny who did The Wartime Kitchen and Garden ..95 years old ..bless .
That is one time I remember exactly where I was and exactly what I was doing.
Time to hit the hay here too.
Picky and silly Millie tomorrow for dinner .Sunday sweating over the yorkie puds
I may win some money at cards though ....you never know .
Oight Oight ..sleep toight .
Good morning, well it is windy and overcast here and it seems as though it is more humid in England than here today, refreshing!

Ruth Mott...she was brilliant in that series. cool and sunny here. I had a no sleep blues night last night and Shughy was a bit itchy still so we stayed home this morning. I remember watching the moon landing and the walk in the middle of the night. There's an excellent film about it called "The Dish"

Morning all...damp and quite chilly here. Looks like the sun will appear just as it disappears over the horizon this evening. :(

Justin Bieber jno? lol...I've got drawers older than him. :)

Yes, I remember staying up to watch the moon landings and not going into school until dinner time the following day. I can't remember whether we'd been given permission to do that but I didn't get into trouble. It was end of term time anyway.

I don't think I feel quite as bad as yesterday, I'll find out as the day goes on I suppose....I'll think I'll have a quick squint to see if I can spot the jape du jour...

My Mum and dad had this thing about stuff children should experience. Mum would take us to see the state opening of parliament and the trooping of the colour processions. She must have taken us out of school to do it.
There is also a weird one I remember when BBC radio did a thing where a man washed his hands in molten lead live on air. You can do it if the lead is hot enough and your hands are wet. It happened at the Morganite Crucible factory which was near us and they had the doors to the lead foundry open for it. You could see the factory and the doors out of our back bedroom window so we all went and watched sharing one pair of binoculars. It happened quite early in the morning so we must have been late for school. I have done an internet search but can't find any mention of it anywhere, it must have been about 50+ years ago.
My dad came home with an electric shock machine, he thought it was so funny. We sat opposite him holding two handles and he pressed something and we got a shock, I think Mum took it away from him before he could actually kill any of us! My mind I think she gave it back when I walked into the room and had to sit with my feet in a bowl of water!!!! (ha ha no, not really!)
