is learn direct any good? can it be compared to GCSE´S

The reason i ask, is, it appears to be the only option offered to overseas learners.

It's different, but you can gain certificates in subjects like Maths and English which you can then put forward into qualifications - they also offer NVQs in a range of subjects. They're a useful organisation for basic skills and vocational training, but they're not the same as GCSEs. IMO.
As Boxtops indicates, LearnDirect specialises in basic skills and vocational training (rather than academic studies).

Overseas students wishing to obtain GCSE qualifications can study for IGCSEs:

help chris, i´ve lost my patience with your link(www.cie.org.uk), i couldnt find info about how i go about doing an o-level in english language, eg payment, course tutors etc.
Sorry, Piggynose, I've only just seen your post.

My link goes to the examining board (who set the exam papers and validate the qualifications) rather than to a course provider.

Google 'study igcse english language' for courses.
e.g.:
