It's better than being told 'don't bother coming back'.
Good luck for tomorrow. You need to prepare well by thinking of their questions and how to answer them
Good luck Midnight - think positive and relax
That's a very good sign! Well done.

As Factor says, have a think about what other questions they might ask,

Google the Company & see if you can find out a little more about them.

Above all, try to be enthusiastic, they know its your first job so they wont expect you to know it all but a willingness to learn will go a long way.

Good luck & let us know how you get on.
It's a very good sign. Find out as much as you can about the company and the way they work, to prepare you for the next interview. Tell them you are willing to learn anything you don't already know. Good luck!
They think you should go on to see the store manager. It looks like the first interview is to weed out applicants who are obviously unsuitable who don't get as far as a second interview. Try and keep calm, be polite and friendly ( remember customer care) and Good Luck. Please let us know how you get on.
I would certainly ask more about your job role, the store has quite a range of customer services including pet care advice and i think some have grooming services. It is possible they are looking for people for stock control, pricing and general housekeeping plus till duties, but potentially there may be the opportunity to train to specalise in the more animal care related departments. They probably also cascade down product training to all their staff which would be very interesting, you'll learn alot about per care in general and also the products the store sells and how to recommend them. I would imagine they also have products that you have to upsell at the till point via customer conversations, this will likely be something the store puts alot of emphasis on and you would likely be monitored on your percentage, it's modern retail and very focused on adding value to a cutomers visit by offering the correct informed advice and add-on sales that they didn;lt realise they wanted,
