10 years ago (i was 15) and i was convicted of breaking into a house with 7 friends - I received about 20 hours community work and a 1 year supervision order - my question is would this conviction still show on my CRB check? I have not since that event been cautioned or convicted and therefore i would assume that the conviction is spent. Many Thanks Scott
it may well be spent, but it is a criminal conviction and will allways be on your criminal record and therefore will show up on any CRB check,it is there for life, you cant remove it.
This will be classed as spent 7 years from the date of the conviction, i think. You received no prison sentence so it will not stay with you, you will still have to disclose this but they can't hold it against you!
