i have been cautioned in 2005 for shoplifting( theft and kindred offenses) so i want to ask if it can affect my UK citizenship application.

I take it from your question that you were not convicted by a Court for any criminal offence, in which case your citizenship application would be unaffected, though the police caution still stands and must be declared.

Additionally, you appear not to have come to notice of the police for the past three years (following the date of your caution) so that too should add credence to your application. Good Luck... and keep out of trouble in future !

Thanks for the answer, dear. It made me relax a little bit but the thing is i have already apply for the naturalisation and i didn't mention the caution cause i thougth we have to mention only conviction and on "other activities that may conclude you are not a person of good character". Do you think they may reject my application because i failed to mention it in the application, i honestly didn't think it applied to a caution.
Please some clarification, please, thanks.
