Abandoned car in private car park quote from police we can’t do anything it’s a private car park no crime has been committed ,do you know who owns it yes but we can’t tell you due to the data protection you have to get it moved at your own expense
As far as I can tell it's not Jordy's car, it's not on Jordy's land, therefore Jordy isn't entitled to have it removed. Contact the land owner and let him sort it out.
Eddie and Spathy your really need to check your facts when it comes to the law.
Spath - moving a car in the manner you are suggesting leaves the OP open to possible action by the police.
Eddie - the law changed you now need to provide documents to the the scrappies before they will remove a car - and have had too for several years!
The owner of the land should:
pay the fee (under £5) to get the Registered Keeper details from the DVLA.
Stick a big notice on the windscreen advising the car will be removed for scrap after 14 days if there is no contact from the RK.
Send a letter to the RK stating the car will be removed for scrap after 14 days if there is no contact from the RK.
Keep a copy of all correspondence and a photo of the notice on the windscreen.
