Will I be banned from driving?

I have 12 points on my licence. Will I definitely be banned or do they sometimes just fine you?

Sounds like you need banning, I think they will ban you for sure!!

If you drive for a living or need a car because you are a carer for someone you can plead hardship and if you are lucky and the Magistrates got out of bed the right side you may get just a fine. See a solicitor. Ive seen many people escape a ban because of a decent brief.

As a magistrare who always gets out of bed on the right side I can tell you that unless you can show 'exceptional ' hardship you will be banned under totting up for 6 months.

further to my comment, I suggest you get used to travel cards and oyster cards, coz you will be getting very used to public transport for a while. Unlucky!
