I was recently stopped on the road doing 80mph in a 30 zone. I have no insurance, tax or M.O.T. I passed my test 6 moths ago and bought a cheap car but could not afford to buy any of these things.

I dont believe you need insurance of M.O.T as long as you drive carefully. I am due in court next week can anyoe please tell me what punishment I can expect to get I;m a little worried I might lose my licence?

Vauxhall Corsa huh? No wonder then...
This is 'Thread of the Year'

Very very amusing. Britain can still produce entrepreneurs.

Like I said. Thanks, I appreciate it Whiffey.
Dont know what your punishment will be but I hope that it's severe. You will lose your licence because you are only allowed to get 6 points I think and the speed will take up all of those.
I have thought this entire thread to be a wind-up. I pray it is. However, in the event the poster is so self-obsessed as to not care about others, I must say that I pity you. I lost a wife and infant son to a speeding, uninsured, drunk driver. Lives change on both sides. Hopefully, yours will not in the same way.

I'm not quite sure why an answer of mine claiming I felt sorry for this guy because he drove a Corsa was banned. Very strange.
Springbulb. Really? are you serious? How can you sit there and say 'I dont think i deserve to lose my license?'
How old are you? Imagine for a second, that your child were to step out in front of you while you're doing 80 mph in a 30 zone. Do you realise it would take you almost 120 metres to stop?
I agree that you don't need insurance 99.99% of the time. However, you must still have it. And the fact you say you don't believe you need documents AS LONG AS YOU DRIVE SAFELY, can you honestly sit there, hand on heart and say that 80 in a 30 zone constitutes DRIVING SAFELY?
Even with insurance, MOT and a full license, with a Police advanced driving certificate, I would not do 80 in a 30 zone. I may do 40 maximum, but thats maximum. If I were chasing someone in a marked police vehicle with blues and twos on, even then I wouldn't do 80, it's simply not worth the risk. I don't mean the risk to yourself, as you clearly don't give a toss about anyone but yourself, but I mean the risk to other people. How can you be sure the car is capable of doing 80 SAFELY, with nobody checking over it every year (ie: the MOT).
I think the fact that this post should be printed and used a evdidence in court AGAINST you, as you are nothing more than a disgrace to the driving community and you ought to be locked up. I am pretty sure you will be sentenced to a custodial term, and at the very least you will be havily fined and definately banned. If you hit someone, even at 30, with no MOT or insurance, you're almost guaranteed to face a jail term. If you disagree with anything I've said, which I dont doubt you will, then feel free to message me for my address and we'll discuss it further.
I assume the police who stopped you have confiscated your vehicle under section 165 of the road traffic act? Section 165 was written exactly for people like you, who drive dangerously with no regard whatsoever for other road users or pedestrians. You really do deserve all
