mccalls pattern copyright
We have a 1987 Mccalls pattern for a toy which we would like to make & sell - is the copyright still valid?

Your question suggests to me the pattern is like a fabric design, perhaps? I'm unsure of what exactly the item or design is- you may find that it was a functioning trademark, which may last indefinitely.
Alternatively, you may have meant a 'patent' for a toy? This would be a whole different game.
