If you buy a £1000 ticket you are taking a huge risk- if the raffle tickets aren't all sold or the organiser runs off with the money how would you be sure of getting your £1000 back?
perhaps you could sell the tickets low, so as to tempt more people to buy and put ans end date as being only when a certain amount of tickets have been sold...
Nobody will pay £1000 for a ticket, unless they have more money than sense.
"Winadevonpropertywithfishing" was a successful competition for a large house, land & fishing lake won last year by a German man, Tickets were £25 each & totted up to £1,000,000. (My hubby & I bought 1 ticket each)
The house was called The Oldborough Retreat & was featured on UTUBE for the whole of the comp' which took about 18months to get through the legal system as it all hinged on the 'interpretation' of the wording, by The Gambling Commission.
It all worked out in the end though!
I wouldn't buy a ticket.

I would assume it was a scam.
