please help wrongly accused

My so called friend lost her bank card and apparently 15 mins after she left me money was withdrawn and she has accused me.

She said the police are involved and I'm petrified. I live with my parents and do not want police at my door.

I dont know what to do can anyone help

is there any way I can find out if she has gone to the police and contact them myself?

Firstly would you have known her pin number has she told it to you or have you used it with her permission in the past .You know you did nothing wrong so dont worry .Would imagine it would not be looked kindly on by the police if she acccused you wrongly

I would not pre empt anything as she may just be saying this to precipitate some kind of confession through fear. If she has they will soon come a knocking !

Thats what I dont want. This is my parents house. I'm scared as I've never been in trouble before and I'm losing sleep over this

When did this happen, if it has been more than 48 hours I would say she is winding you up and you wont hear from the bizzies !

It happened last week well over 48 hours I think it was Monday but she only told me about it yesterday

Most cash machines either have cctv camera's in or around them.

optics2b I think cos I was with her I'm not sure. When she told me the police were getting involved I did ask for the details so I could contact them myself and the reply I got was she wasnt playing my games and to delete her number

Maybe you could tell your parent whats happened just in case the police do turn up. As your parents they will know they bought you up not to do what you are being accused of, they will probably be as angry as you must be about it. And im sure they would prefer to have some warning it may happen. Remember they are your parents, the people that know you best, and will be there to support and defend you if you need them.

Think you are worrying over something that is not going to happen, who needs a friend like this ? Optics right cash machines usually have a camera showing who is making withdrawls for this reason.. if you have done nothing wrong you have nothing to fear..bring it on if she wants and DUMP the "friend"

Why not if it worries you so much turn the tables and suggest to the "friend " you are going to the police as you are being acccused of something you did not do .That way she has the worring to do and may come clean

Honest WA I really think you should not let this spoil your enjoyment of Xmas ! Y ou would certainly have heard from them by now ! Lorri has given good advice.. I would not make a big deal of telling your folks.. mention in passing that you and she have had a falling out over something stupid.. that she has lost some money from her account and is looking for someone to blame.. be casual and dismissive about it.. dont talk it up toomuch and then if something does happen-it wont - thay will recall you mentioning it.
