(oh look, first Q in this section).

What is the point of this? Isn't it just already over inflated ego's being congratulated for doing something they should be doing anyway?

And how do any of us know if they are decent parents.

It makes me angry. But I don't know why.

I absolutely agree with you, gets on my nerves.
I'm still trying to work out what the point of celebs are.
I'm with OG - most of them are only famous for being famous and are not at all talented.

It annoys me when the media tell me that someone is a 'national treasure' inferring that I should like them too.

Or people getting MBEs etc only because they have lived a long long time - Bruce Forsyth is an example.

I am off to take my sunny mood down to my little job in Oxfam.

Grump ** Bitch ** Grump :-)
Join the club EB - I heard about this on the radio and had an overwhelming urge to shout "rudeadjective rudepluralnoun" ...
i can;t figure out why, who cares?

and nastasha thingy, how does she qualify as a celeb?
Being on the telly ?
If they really really need to waste time in this horsepoo, why don't they wait til the kids have grown up and then see how well thy turn out! Natasha Gigg What The Funicular, are they avin a larf?
i've been on the telly, does that mean i can qualify, i'm not even a mum but i doubt that's a requisite
I've been on the radio & am not a dad - sounds like we're a shoe-in fluff ;)

I wonder if having a child is a neccessity???

I've got a cat and I've been on the radio. Hell, I've even been on Sky news. I might see if they'll nominate me next year.
Natasha Giggs....a celeb for having an affair with a footballer while married to the footballers brother. Mum of the year???? You're 'aving a larf!!!
Question Author
Maybe we've all just let her affair with her ultra famous brother in law cloud over her real talent which is............... oh.
Being a good Mum....lol
Question Author
Oh yeah, that!

If only all you Mums had famous brothers in law, hey. Imagine the possibilities!
'Sleb 'anything' is simply a pointless exercise in back-slapping.
Question Author
Yep, thats the reason I can't stand all these award shows either. Those people are getting paid shed loads to do their job. They don't need a shiney statue for it too.
Can these take any credit anyway. Many of them have nannys bringing up their children while they live their 'lifestyle'. Like to see them doing the school run, working full time, washing, ironing, ect, ect
wasn't Natasha the one in 'Celebrity' Big Brother last year? she wasn't good mum then......
I second your comments EvianBaby and it should be celeb Nanny to the stars award
