Auschwitz series on BBC2 - Credit music

A few weeks ago BBC2 ran a series of documentaries on Auschwitz (can't remember the title) and at the end of every programme during the credits they played a great piece of classical music, they also played it at points during the show too, does anyone have any ideas as to its name? thanks :D
