I wasn't sure about the first episode but persevered and then was thoroughly hooked! Last episode was brilliant. Love James Purefoy and quite honestly I reckon it would make a great series but weekly, not every night. Do ABers agree?

I enjoyed the manchester detective's character very much and don't think it would be the same without him. I wouldn't have killed him off, but paired up him and travers! They could have done all manner of dirty dealings between them.
I did think the last episode was flawed though. There's no way he could have found that laptop, or even know what was on it. ridiculous. Children may have fallen for such a weak end, but not me.
Also, there was no closure with the detective's poor wife. Was she done for murder or not? Annoying that we weren't told.
Sorry quizzy, overall, a great cast but let down at the end.
