A song was played on BBC1's 'Bailiffs' last night, It contained the lyrics 'Come up and see me', Does anyone know what the song is called ? Thanks.

I didn't see the prog, but sounds like it could be Come up and see me (make me smile) by Steve Harley and Cockney Revel perhaps?

For all you pop-tastic pop pedantry fans out there, it's actually entitled 'Make Me Smile (Come Up and See Me)' .

And I think they were Steve Harley and the Cockney Rebels.
Ha ha, it was of course Rebels.  Had choccy on my mind as usual.
Sorry to be even more pedantic than brachiopod but they are actually called Steve Harley and Cockney Rebel, not, The Cockney Rebels (i know,i really should find something better to do with my time)
I was only 2 when the song was out (1975) so sorry for getting it wrong pedants!!
