Having a rather drunken conversation last night, we got talking about films, really well known films especially from our childhood/growing up years (we're all in our 40's) and it amazed me the "classics" some of them hadn't seen. Mr Boo for example hasn't seen Grease! I mean how is that possible??

Over to you, what "classic" films haven't you seen?

I don't know how I could say which ones I've never seen, we hardly ever go to the pictures and don't bring home DVDs.
Don't bother with it caz, it's rubbish and ET is a hideous and creepy little thing.

lol Trim I got thinking when I remembered my old trimphone in the loft..........the scandiphone was another of my telephone disasters.

any lord of the rings
west side story
south pacific
(and yet I love musicals!)

I'm stunned so many have not seen LOTR or StarWars, I mean they were MASSIVE!
Oi craft! I just saw your comment about my avatar on that aqua aerobics thread... How can you not want to adopt me when I'm looking at my sizzling, flexible best?!
criscal - west side story I loved!!! (but then I was a shallow teenager at the time) - no, still love the music
I've never seen LOTR or any Back to The Future, and definitely no Harry Potter............I have seen Grease but whether I'd call it a classic is debatable.
Never seen Armagedon (sp? doesn't look right!)
All of the Godfather films.
Rocky.

I tend to watch films long after they've been released and wondered why I never watched or took any notice of them when everyone seem to be raving about them (i.e, Harry Potter, LOTR, SAW..) Hmm.. gotta be more...Let me think about this.....
I watched the 3 old star wars films, but I havent watched the newer ones.

I think some of these sci-fi films are boring, give me a rom com anyday, though the up to date romcoms have been a bit rubbish
Has anyone not seen Grease 2? I loved that film when I was a teenager, I wanted to date a 'cool rider' too but these days it just sounds dirty :-/
The all-time classic musical..............Calamity Jane (my mum took me to see it)
how many have seen grease 2?

never seen the terminator films, or rocky, or the godfather

oh ouch, Grease 2, Michelle Pfieffer (sp?) and Maxwell Caulfield? That was baaaaaaad, horrible horrible follow on!
I must admit to being very much a moviephile and love movies from all eras so love lots of classics but I was shocked when I first met Mr Bagpuss as to how many classics he had never seen. He has been made to watch:
Harvey
To Kill a Mocking Bird
The Cat & The Canary
Psycho
Its A Wonderful Life
High Noon
Rear Window
For Whom the Bell Tolls
and many many more.....
I've never seen Grease 2
I've seen some classic porn films..............does that count?
I have never watched any of the batman films, only the old one from 1969
Bet they had cool riders in craft.
