it is, but what is wrong with the man, he doesn't have cancer so perhaps a touch of dementia, or guilt over Cain, i am losing the plot so to speak

And what was all that about killing the hen & having a funeral!! Totally fed up of it and with Chaz & loverboy......she seems to want every man in the village! Didnt enjoy the storyline with Ashley & his Dad in fact...I may stop watching it for awhile!

I realise some of the soaps feel the need to highlight abuse, but it was so out
of character for Ashley. Or are they saying that if anyone is a carer for a long
time, even the most decent person can be pushed to the end of their tether?
I know it's only a soap but some of these issuses should be left to the serious
documentaries.

I used to like Emmerdale and even when working would tape it. Now!! well it's difficult to see what has happened to the scriptwriters.Zak full of guilt and everyone tiptoeing around him. Chas (who used to be the opposite of what they have turned her into) and the man from the bill who has only one expression. Yes indeed, needs to be turned off for a while. All soaps are now almost identical. Perhaps the share scriptwriters!!!
