James is pulling Louis Smith's leg and he is bravely trying some fairly strange new (for him) foods. Poor soul even got food hell (squid) instead of food heaven (chicken) and then James showed him the beautifully cooked chicken and whisked it away again and made him eat the squid. What a nice young man!

Good afternoon all. Yes very windy here and chilly. Took me by surprise when I trotted out this morning with a gilet over my sweater and not a jacket. I have actually bought some Max Factor fluid foundation ( guess thats to keep the gender fluids happy!) Ill try it but doubt i'll use it much.
Must admit to feeling very tired today and bones aching when I was down the village. So sitting in front of a blazing fire and Mr N has created a left over dinner. Umm not too sure about that although he is a far better and more inventive cook than I!
Hello all
Grim weather, cold ,rainy and blowing a gale but don't think it's been as bad as some places have had it.Hope you're all safe and warm though. Nothing doing really. Tackled the washing that had stacked up. Did my brothers ironing but I've had tell him I can't manage it any more .I iron very little of my own stuff these days let alone his mountains of shirts :) I felt a bit guilty but he was ok about it and completely understood that it's getting too much with my back/hips problem etc.
Got a free trial of Amazon prime .Stuff arrives daily ..haha.I'm busy spending my Christmas vouchers.
I've gone down the wormhole .
Good evening...don't worry, I've brought someone along to dig you out

What an awful day, so windy it's made me dizzy even in the house.

hmmm...I was wondering why so many of the handbags on Amazon had sold out

hello wormholers....evilly windy here but it seems to be winding down now. Sis goes home tomorrow :(
No shaney I was in the wormhole!!!
Have you ever tried to fit a lidl ironing board cover on an ironing board? Youd think they were a univeral fitting, wouldnt you? Well they are not. Ive had the damned thing for a year and had given up but today I would not be beaten. I tried every which way and in the end I cut off all their ties and pilleys. I stabbed holes all round the edge and then threaded elastic zig zagged underneath and pulled tight. Success. I was worried the board wouldnt close but it did. I ironed Mr Ns jumper which has been waiting for 3 weeks!
the weather's been quite wet and blustery, hasn't it? It calmed down a bit this afternoon as we went to see Young Frankenstein on stage. Very loud non-stop (it's a musical) and nothing good that wasn't in the film already, but entertaining enough.
Weve had the loan of a brand new Ford Kuga for the day as Mr Ns van is in for a service. Well posh. Been to lidl and usual supermarket in another area. Wish I could keep it!
Tree finally packed away. Room feels very empty!
We have some lidl nut bread and ham for lunch. Also bought another roscon.
a cougar in a Kuga, exciting times in Ibiza
Haha very droll jno!!
Good morning from a sunny ibiza. Chilly though. All decs flung into the storeroom where he'll go mad when he sees but there is no room to get in there.
3 Kings coming tonight. I suppose we'll pop down to catch a few boiled sweets which are thrown with abandon ( daent say gay) and with absolutely no thought to elf n safety.

Hello all....pleasantly nothing ish day here. I pottered and napped, dogs pottered and napped and I did a bit of washing.
Good morning. Last fiesta of xmas thank heavens. Am fed up with them! We went and saw the 3 Kings parade. Very charming and not too long. Some dancers had beautiful lit up gossamer cloaks and I want one. We were home by 20.30 which was good.
Morning all...yet another dark, cold, wet and thoroughly miz day.
All xmas paraphernalia put away yesterday, it took me ages but I did it in a tidy manner so it fits into the smallest space possible. This really has to be the year for a ruthless sort out.
I won't be working wonders today though, I ache all over and my ibs is ongoing so I'll mostly be being human and sulking in the corner. The slippery elm I ordered from H&B has just arrived, I'm hoping it calms things down. You'd like the van man neti, he looks like Arthur from Holby...I don't mean ghostly, haha.

Hope the rest of you and yours are as well as possible...
our decorations are coming down now. I think we must be observing a Hawaiian twelfth night; either that or we just forgot. There are still old birthday cards and such like on the mantelpiece, some of them just because they look nice.

I usually buy from Karrie Barron

Just sitting in lounge doing nothing. We went out for a coffee and i found a shop open so bought a light jacket for Dubai.
Weve eaten deep fried cheese balls and mini spring rolls. I have defrosted a lobster for thermidor but doubt il get round to eating it.
Hello all
Dull and cold here. Also packed the Christmas stuff away yesterday. I did it in an untidy manner though as is my usual trick . Bunged it all in a box .You'll get my usual moan about tangled lights again next Christmas.
Those birthday cards are really lovely Jno . I'd keep them on display all year round too.
Nothing doing otherwise . I ache in sympathy with you Robinia ,hope you soon feel better.
Beef casserole tonight. Never ask a man to get two small slices of braising steak in case he comes back with nearly half a cow at a cost of twenty one quid :)
a lot of them are still exhibited in the boudoir, shaney, not that many people see them. I think my favourite is the Flamboyant Christmas one.
Sister just phoned. Her oldest friend 77 committed suicide yesterday. Shes quite shaken as she was always running around for her. Apparently she stockpiled morphine and painkillers. The nursing home is under investigation. Quite sad really.
