James is pulling Louis Smith's leg and he is bravely trying some fairly strange new (for him) foods. Poor soul even got food hell (squid) instead of food heaven (chicken) and then James showed him the beautifully cooked chicken and whisked it away again and made him eat the squid. What a nice young man!

Evening all. We are back in freezing Spain. I wore Mr Ns new jacket which is huge but didnt care. Nice clean comfy beds at last.
Morning. Last leg of journey home. Nice sleep in airport hotel in Barcelona. Fly Ibiza at 4pm. Its been super but will be glad to get home. Freezing here, havent got the clothes to wear!!
I thought I posted last night so maybe am in wormhole!
Just had a pig out fir brekkie. Full English followed by nutty cake, what a pig! Health eating stars tomorrow. We fly home today at 16.30.
Finally at home in my bed. House and cat ok! She seems a bit strange and keeps roaming but is settling now.
Ryanair ibiza flight was delayed 50 mins but only took 35 mins to fly here (usually an hour's flight) jumped in a taxi immediately and home.
Heard an old friend had died so all meeting up ibiza style tomorrow for drinks to celebrate his love of life!
There was a Tesco in hija's apartment block in Dubai so i bought some oatsosimple instant porridge back as rare as hen's teeth here.

Another weary weekend here. Shughy got another dose of stomach upset, ill all day friday and most of friday night. Happily much better now but still tired. Rab and I worry about him so we are all tired. happily all good now and we can relax tomorrow
Freezing. Much as I like the cold I dislike cold damp houses as is ours. Cat was strange last night. Think she ws missing her bodyguard. She finally settled on my legs for the whole night.
Fiesta here so Mr N had to drive miles to find a food shop. I discovered that our outside full fridge/freeze has broken and all foodstuff floating and smelly. I have save my English sausages nd hash browns. Will cook and refreeze.
We are both suffering from jetlag. So tired and dizzy.
Rain pretty much nonstop since we landed. Heavy, too. At least it's warm. No jet lag for me touch wood but OH is starting to look thin. Eat a quarter of a sandwich, fight nausea for three hours, bring most of it back up again. I think the next step might be to see another doctor, but not my call.
Oh dear jno that's not good is it? We are fed up with eating. He has made himself a big hearty veg soup. I am eating porridge. Maybe your OH should try porridge jno!
Been to our late friend's remembrance gathering. So many people there as he was very popular. Lots of very nice tasty nibbles and wine. Stayed or an hour for the toasts and came home in the freezing rain. Had a lovely hot bath and now in warm bed. We are both so tired!
Now now what is going on here? Robi Shaney?? Woofy is excused because of the woofers!
Mr N has lit all the heaters in the house as it really is unbearably cold. The houses just arent built for it. In the night there was a terrific bolt of lightning and thunder, leccy went off. We were hit but luckily nothing damaged. Circuit breaker saved us so we just reset it.
Am fed up with these long nails so they are coming off as soon as I find somewhere.
Hello folks
I'm still alive Neti. Haven't felt well for a few days.On top of a rheumatic flare up I seem to have had some sort of gastric flu thing. Lots of dashing to small rooms.I've felt really rough but it seems to have calmed down now.
Nice bright day but very cold .
Sorry to hear about your OH Jno.Worrying for you. A trip to the doctors would be the wisest thing to do in the circumstances.
Nothing exciting going on otherwise.
Hope you're all ok and the woofers
Oh dear Shaney poor you. Have to admit my arthritis is playing up on shoulder and neck. Feel quite sick but popping panadol to help. Am just so glad that I managed the sightseeing in Dubai although one foot was killing me. I think I may have a bunion on the other side by the small toe, is that possible? Its carnival now but cba to go down. That shows how tired I am.
Good morning all.
Shaney hope you are feeling better now.
Jno hope OH is also better!
Hi woofy and woofers!
Robi hooe you are alright.
Its Valentines Day. Not a lot happening in Villa Neti !!
Not a lot happening here either .Just waiting for the downpour that's been forecast to arrive.Dark and gloomy out there.
I still feel a bit seedy and the impending weather isn't helping.
Hope you're all ok though.
I've bought an Amazon Firestick as they were on offer. Though much more tv and dvd watching and my backside will be as wide as Oulton Broad.Roll on spring and summer.

I bought Mr N an amazon firestick last Sept and had mobdro installed so we can warch any channel in the world, inc Sky sports which is what he wanted! But wifi is so dodgy here it lags and buffers a lot. I watch it on my tablet.
Theres a lot of this tummy trouble going about. Several friends on FB have been laid low with it.
I'm just still so tired in the afternoons!

hello all, seedy weather here too. Touching wood Shughy is over his stomach thing but the weather has been noisy as well as wet which means much night time patrolling and much weariness in the daytime. We are fed up of the mud as well. I am still getting little bits of giddy if I do too much but less and less. I remembered I had this before around 5 years ago and went to the local (very nice very helpful) pharmacist for advice. He said nothing to be done but rest and patience and he was right that time so I will keep on keeping on. Hope none of you have been washed away.
Good evening...I'm still alive but I'm fed up of the bitterly cold weather. As an added bonus it's been wet and windy today too.

Oh dear, we are a wobbly lot. The lurgy got me down and I'm still achey and weary. Had a blinding headache yesterday and I've got screaming tinnitus today. My Valentine's cards and flowers seem to have got lost in the post again ...a lotto win would far more welcome.

Nothing interesting to report...I hope everyone/dog/cat feels better soon.

Hail hail the gang's all here well apart from jno.
Mousey's ""bodyguard" was taken to hospital on Monday with anxiety attack! I rather feel our house or cat caused it but hija says no, it was something from his family!! We never had anxiety attacks in my day, we just got on with it whatever it was!!
The sun has finally put in appearance, so that's nice. The car is malfunctioning, none of the dashboard dials is working so I don't know when we need petrol or how fast we're going. The phone hasn't been connected yet. OH still has a dodgy tum. But it isn't snowing or anything. Could even go to the beach but I suspect OH won't be interested.
