James is pulling Louis Smith's leg and he is bravely trying some fairly strange new (for him) foods. Poor soul even got food hell (squid) instead of food heaven (chicken) and then James showed him the beautifully cooked chicken and whisked it away again and made him eat the squid. What a nice young man!

evening all, how are you doing?
Sorry your OH is still suffering jno, it's been a long time, I'd be distraught. I really hope things get better very soon.
It's dark and snowing hard at the moment, this morning's covering was just about gone, tut. Went shopping on Saturday with my sister and topped up my emergency supplies so I don't really have to go out this week.
It's chicken stew (again) tonight...I sliced my thumb as well as an onion, yuk. That'll teach me to stick to ding dinners :)

Crikey Jno .Doh indeed. It'll be money well spent though if they can diagnose what's wrong.Fingers crossed for you both.
The snow started to clear but we've had more and it's going to get down to minus 10 tonight according to Accu. How cheerful.
Thank goodness for on line groceries .I did a top up which Sainsbury's brought earlier.Unusual for Mr S to mutter about the cold having been brought up where they always had plenty of snow in the winter.
I told him his blood must be getting thin.
The bin men didn't come today and any chance to get out of here by train today was no go as they cancelled loads of services. I think Greater Anglia made a boob though because the worst is yet to come.Storm Emma is going to come up from the south and clash with the beast from the east.Keep your bobble hats handy.
Stay safe and warm folks .Nighty nite.

Ooh, exciting times in the Arctic wastes. Every time I look at photos of London under a quarter inch of snow my heart goes out to them, but I expect as usual it's a lot worse elsewhere round Britain.
Gastro lady seemed smart, sent OH for a blood test and should be able to have a gastroscopy tomorrow or the next day. She thinks there may be a blockage, which sounds very likely, but it might just be the cocktail of omaprazole, antibios, antacids and whatnot OH has been taking (under orders).
OH hasn't actually brought anything up today, which may be a good sign or may just be like the rattle going away the minute you drive into the repair shop.
