James is pulling Louis Smith's leg and he is bravely trying some fairly strange new (for him) foods. Poor soul even got food hell (squid) instead of food heaven (chicken) and then James showed him the beautifully cooked chicken and whisked it away again and made him eat the squid. What a nice young man!

OH has been given some antibiotics and officially cleared for takeoff, so that’s goodish, but probably won’t be eating or drinking much on the flights so I expect we’ll be off to casualty not too long after we land. The might try another stent or do some sort of surgical bypass, the doc says. So there is some hope, but goodness knows how long it will take. I have Bupa but OH declined to take it up so we’ll probably have to pay if it’s to be done in our lifetimes.

Safe journeys for neti's hija and you and your OH jno. 28 hours is a hell of a journey, hope it isn't too stressful.

The more deaths I hear about the more terrified I become. I never used to be scared.

I can't remember yesterday, was I here? Nothing of note happening today either, just redistribution of some dust. Oh, I have got a basket containing several items on the Oasis site waiting at the checkout...decisions ...decisions.

A few more hours till our long flight. OH is still keeping fluids, yoghurt etc down so that's a good sign that it wont be too much of an ordeal. OH has a doctors appointment on Monday - a miracle that was on Patient Access - but is ready to go to casualty before that if things go bad.

What a gloomy holiday! But it is still warm and sunny, so not entirely wasted. Plus OH recovered enough briefly to buy shoes and I bought some knickers.

Morning. Well done jno and OH. Hija is at Dubai airport now.
I had to rush to dentist as my one good tooth which I need so I can wear my clipon tooth had split completely in half lengthways. So she has removed the loose bit and have to go back next Tuesday to have filled! So I came home cos even though she said I could drink coffee I didnt fancy one.

I think that type of shopping is obligatory jno. I bought 3 pairs of shoes in Dubai and OH bought knickers. I had also bought knickers from M&S! None of this stuffed camels nonsense!!

Its all very quiet in here. The hija has landed in Barcelona. Im watching The Servant on Talking Pictures. Its a good film.

Just got blood tests results and all is perfectly controlled!! There is one kidney not perfect but told to drink more water which included tea and coffee. Even diabetes is ok even tho I told him that I eat sweets and biscuits. Said carry on as results are the best so far.

Nice day and yesterday was too although the wind is still chilly.Warmer inland I expect.
Hope the travellers have all had happy landings or is Jno still up in the air .
Not much doing here .Bit of necessary housework and I managed to deadhead the hydrangeas. Hope we don't get a frost .
I had a call from the surgery yesterday and have to go for a blood test. Then I got a letter this morning.They must be desperate to see me :)

There was a 69 yr old man here with dementia who went missing on Tuesday. The police have been searching with loud helicopters for a couple of days and today everyone ( but have fo shown legal i.d.)was meeting to search. I decided that I would be more of a liability in the woods and cliffs so declined. Anyway he's just been found in a shed in a private house. He's perfectly Ok so what a relief, poor man. Its a wicked disease.

safely home here and OH is lucid and mobile and not in need of medical care ... according to OH, who has got this massively wrong in the recent past, so we shall see. House is cold, only food left by jno jnr was a ham and pineapple pizza. But naturally I wanted to blog about it all before going to bed. 8am in Hong Kong.

Lol Jno, my OH used to do that too and I was always dubious too...but glad that you are both safely home. I am never putting another greenhouse up. Struggled with the roof yesterday and today I am stiff as a board.

Hello and welcome back jno. I presume flight was uneventful .
Busy today putting Mr N and his things back into the marital bedroom. Hija's room all clear and tidy. I still have bags of my clothes stuffed in the bottom of her wardrobe!
Mr N does not feel well. He's aching all over and has been coughing for months. I repeatedly ask him to go to mexico but he wont. I am seriously worried! He has been working hard 8am til 7 pm and wont eat all day. I cant force him to.
We collect hija at 22.30.
