I thought the behavioural issues were typical of many schools and were less serious than in a number of schools I've been in. I suppose that given the presence of cameras many students did moderate their behaviour.
I thought the young lad who won the JLT seat was a wonderful student, and I thought the girl with the painted on eyebrows was showing signs of maturing and has the potential to be a level-headed, responsible adult. I'd be happy to have her in my classes.
Kamron was a bit of a handful but he seems the type who may settle down. There are students who are much more violent and disruptive than that in most schools.
I'm looking forward to next week's programme.

I am planning on watching the programme this afternoon. I've seen trailers and have been less than impresses with the outward appearance of some of the pupils but look forward to assessing their characters in more depth. I hope to see the qualities in each of them that Factor has seen.
I was a right royal pain in the backside but have gone on to have a fulfilled career and personal life. I hope these pupils are given the opportunities I had to express myself and learn from my errors in a supportive environment.

First thanks for reminding me and I've just watched this on 4OD. I expected to be horrified by the touchy feely approach that I thought wasn't working used by the head in the previous series Educating Essex. Very impressed with this head though and look forward to seeing the next episodes. I didn't see any behaviour much worse than when I was teaching although there is no doubt that the fear/respect I had for my own teachers is no longer evident or the accepted way to be in modern schools. Loved Bailey, Yorkshire's Rizzo!
