very interesting, but some of the pupils depicted should be ashamed of themselves, and I don't blame the school. just what values are these childrens parents teaching ( or not ) them ?

As a kid in the 80's I too wore too much make - up and harassed (to my shame now) a few OAP's, as in knocking on their doors and legging it type of thing. Whilst they not nice, especially the latter, it's what kids do, always did and probably will continue to do so.

Values are no better or worse than they've always been.

I agree with B00 in the main, those types of things have always gone on - does not make them right of course.

Hard to comment on the parenting, we only saw one Mother on camera and she was very open about expressing her disappointment in her son's actions and attitude.

I find the programme fascinating, it shows how hard the staff work to treat each pupil as an individual and not to give up on them, real dedication.

As i said, not proud of it,but it's what kids (well us scally kids anyway) did when playing out.

Doesn't mean we wern't taught values by our elders, we were, we just chose to ignore 'em.

And I, and am sure quite a few more of us aint turned out to be social delinquents.

No, I certainly wouldn't condone it, i'd severely rollock my child if they did it, but as I've said, I accept it's what some kids do, and always have. It doesn't mean they've had a bad upbringing, they're just being little snots!
