Amazing!! I don't know how he does it and don't really care - great entertainment!!! (rest of Saturday viewing is abysmal as usual)

He is good, but he doesn't do anything that David Blaine and others haven't done before. I don't find him very charismatic to be honest.

.... oh dear .... plzzz don't get me started .... I hate him with a passion .... along with David Blaine and Criss Angel.
I don't mind his traditional tricks that require sleight of hand, etc .... but way too many of his tricks employ the use of fancy gimmicks and stooges. The walking on the Thames for instance ..... I mean, c'mon .... think logically and you'll work out how it's done.

Like I said, compared to the utter rubbish on BBC tonight, Dynamo is great entertainment and fun. Sherlock tomorrow though!!!

The thing is, when you're into magic like I am (I'm sort of a serious hobbyist, for want of a better expression) and you know how lots of these tricks are done, I'm not easily impressed when they are simply using fancy gimmicks that anyone could use (after a lil' practice of course).
I'm much more impressed when they use knuckle busting moves .... and even though I'll know how it's being done, I'll appreciate all the hard work that's been put in, practicing the moves and of course the presentation of the trick itself.

I've been sucked in then.. how did he make that hot coin have a cube of ice on it, like, 1 second later...? I love Dynamo.. My daughter believes hes majic (looks wrong but can't fathom another spelling of that word!) , but obvs it's all sleight of hand etc... Enjoyable

To be honest, I don't know how every single trick is done. I haven't seen the tricks in qestion, otherwise I might (or might not) be able to fathom it out .... there are a lot of tricks that employ a few basic principles.
Another thing to bear in mind is, if it's impossibe (or seemingly impossible), camera trickery, stooges and film editing are still used ...... as well as very expensive and fancy gimmicks.

.... and to be honest, I wouldn't really be willing to reveal the mechanics behind the tricks .... that's not really how I work .... one Val Valentino is more than enough if you ask me.
I'll be man enough to say I don't know how the tricks in question are done, partly 'cos I haven't seen them ......
