Tuesday. We are told to expect the same weather today as yesterday. Cloudy here, but warm enough, a good day to put the washing on the line for the first time this year. I got a lot done in the garden, the barbie is all spruced up and ready to go and the garden is beginning to look like someone gives a toss!

Much the same weather today we are told.

Absolutely NO plans whatsoever today. I need to do a bit of food shopping locally but that's it. I'm a real Betty No-Mates today.

i wouldn't bet on it jan! I'm taking my friend who has onset dementia to the bank to sort out the mess har account is in. After that I will probably be in need of something stimulating!

Morning bernie. Horse racing yawn The roads around here will be rather busy this week. You may have guessed that horse racing is not among my favourite pass times. :o} You enjoy it mate.

years ago used to have a weeks holiday and go everyday to cheltenham but as i got older learned the hard way betting is a mugs game ( me at the time) i can know just sit and watch but no betting!

That's fine mate. The nearest I ever get to gambling is a lottery ticket. I know alot of people enjoy horse racing, but it's not my thing. Cheltenham is about 15 miles from here, so there are plenty of stables round and about and horses all over the place, but the ones on the roads are not doing the jumps at Chelters! :o}
