What did everyone think of tonights results? I thought the acts were mostly pretty poor tonight..

Jack Pack were marvellous. Don't think Paddy and Nico should have got through to the final (though I admire her agility considering her age!)

i shall just tune in to the final next saturday and hope to see some good acts

Jack Pack were sensational.......streets ahead of anyone seen so far.
Stars in the making...choice of song excellent, harmony superb and boys well turned out.

Will be a travesty of justice if they fail to win.

If Paddy was the same age as Nico they would not have got through the heats. It's only because of her age they got through. I felt they were an embarrassment too. I know she had an injury, but she hasn't done herself any favours by carrying on.

Now that the line up for the final has been decided, i have just had a look at the betting (my only interest in the contest is because i may have a bet). Bars & Melody are 6/4 favs, closely followed by Collabro @ 15/8. Then we have Lucy Kay @ 11/2 and Jack Pack @ 8/1. Surprisingly, Nico & Paddy are only 12/1 whilst Lettice is 33/1!! I don't do short prices so do Lucy Kay or Jack Pack stand a chance?

I assumed foreign acts were allowed because of EU freedom of movement. Doesnt explain the Canadian magician. Started watching the heats and saw some good acts but got bored stiff by most. Lost interest quite soon. Started watching the finals and was, well, appalled by some of the dross the judges chose to go through. Hope Simon can monitor some of the better acts for the future.
