Caran - bad language - having worked in Plymouth - seems central to this.
In Night Runners of Bengal - an officer says: where is that pig's ass of a jemadar ? and I didnt really see anything different.

Peter I've 2 younger relatives who both went into the RM together, one still serving. They made out they were the tough guy elite mob, these guys in the programme came across as somewhat unmotivated and yes a bit wan and spotty. If they come out as elite tough guys at the end that can only suggest what a brilliant job the trainers do.
