What's your favourite episode of: TOS, TNG and Voyager?
Mine are "Balance or Terror", "Relics" and "Blink of an eye" respectively.
Please do not troll post, if you don't like then don't comment.
I loved 'Trouble with Tribbles' and the one set in a mine where the main life-form turned out to be silicon-based and was only protecting her eggs, can't remember the name.
The one that I liked, but didn't expect to, was TNG episode "Lower Decks", which was in season 7.
I loved Star Trek from an early age but I have to admit that I love Stargate SG1 and Stargate Atlantis much much more. Atlantis was pure dead brilliant.
Thank you TTT - the mind-meld scene was brilliant! My younger daughter is also a fan - aged 11 I took her to Edinburgh to see the travelling exhibition - we played with Mr. Sulu's (computer) buttons! It was great.
yes inner light is another cracker, as is chain of command were Picard gets tortured by the cardasian (David Warner). Yes I also agree, Darmok, "temba his arms wide" - communication by metaphor - only sci fi would try that!
Wow I consider myself a Sci-fi geek but can't name individual episodes, I do like all of them but DS9 edges it for me with the story arc.
As for others Babylon5 beats any of the Treks IMO also like SG1, Atlantis never did anything for me but the best was the grungy space smeg-heads aboard Red Dwarf. (Series 1-6)
Tos.... The Corbomite Maneuver
TNG... Clues
Voyager... Scientific Method
Enterprise.... Silent Enemy
Couldn't get away with Deep Space 9 for some reason.
ermm excuse me , we are TREKKERS not Trekkies. MY favourite series was Deep Space Nine but there is no way I can choose a favourite episode. I did love Jadzia's red leather wedding dress though!
The series as a whole had so many new ideas in it...Darmok and Jilad, Allemarain, the concept that such an alien and horrid race as the Ferengi could have good points (have never had a world war.) Vic Fontaine was pretty amazing too.
