I think it is a 'cunning plot' to get us all mentally active and keep dementia at bay. We have done lots of crosswords, just one left - Scrabble sounds good, haven't played it for a while. TV? 'Midsommer Murders' burbles away happily enough in the background. I don't think we've watched more than 6 hours in the whole of the festive period (including news). Dire...

I agree with you, hardly watched tv at all, just played music and done crosswords
Was so lucky to spend Christmas with daughter and family
Not much TV
Played Sherlock Cluedo
Quiz on Myths and Legends
Quiz on Lateral Thinking
Enjoyed each others' company
Talked a lot
Cooked together
Laughed a lot
I am so lucky!
Son drove me down to Bournemouth
Son in Law drove me back
Sod Southern Rail!
just watched Peter Pan going wrong, brilliant slapstick.
I've been watching a marathon of Peaky Blinders today. OH has just tuned in to MOTD though...

They are starting filming series four this spring, ummmm.
Don't usually like Slapstick but Peter Pan was brilliant
100% agree Caribeing, so many old films from the 50s/60s, H/Potter again & again, M/Wise, Vicar of Dibley, even the news kept repeating about Carrie Fisher, George Michael for 3 days.
Looking forward it to Mikey. I really like the story lines but I hate violence on TV (it's the sound effects) makes me a bit queasy so I have to have the laptop on so I don't see the 'thud thud thud...and then lots of blood/death'
er, Ummmm - are you on he right thread?
Looking forward it to Mikey.

!

Mrs av is the same, she hides behind a ( sofa ) cushion. All part of the story lines though.
Lol..

Yes, Jordain, I said I was watching Peaky Blinders and Tony answered me :-)
And I'm sorry for saying Mikey instead of Tony...that might have been the confusion!!

I'm only on my second drink!!! :-D
My oops :) x
I'm only on my second drink!!! :-D

I bet there large ones though ;-)
House measures so I'm not sure. Could be the equivalent to errrrrrrrr quite a lot :-)

I have a bottle of wine as well but haven't opened it yet.
We are watching a lovely Andre Rieu concert from Vienna with all the Johann Strauss waltzes etc. Its on SkyArts2 until midnight.
Can't agree more about Peter Pan, had me lol'ing all over the place which is most unusual.
I knew a lovely chap in France, whose Dr. said 'just 1 glass a day'. You've guessed it - he bought one of those glasses which holds a bottle of wine. Still alive, last I heard. x
Ah yes house measures = proper measures. If I have a pub measure I always feel like I've been ripped off.
