Anyone seen this film? I was watching it the other night but fell asleep before the end, anyone tell me what happened after the things started growing out of his mouth? thanks

After that he spun himself a web in the basement, took the girl neighbour down there with him. Then Dan Ackroyd came back, went into the basement and shot the spider, the girl than gave him a loving glance and he died.
