I loved this sitcom when it was on in the early 90s. Hyacinth Bouquet was a brilliant character and I started watching the reruns since before Clive Swift passed away a few weeks ago. I love it so much that I bought the box set with the Xmas specials.

Bizarrely, I couldn't get into One Foot in the Grave which was on around the same time. For some reason it didn't appeal to me. Other comedies I have watched time and time again are Blackadder and Red Dwarf....and Friends!

Probably been asked a million times before on AB but what comedy could you watch over and over?

Loved Extras,and Derek. Very clever..
Ricky Gervais is a genius, right enough. No argument here.
Royle Family
Brexit. :-)
Actually Douglas I think 'Yes Minister- The Brexit Years' is right for pitching- might just write that myself... :) x
Yes I have to agree the best comedy ever ,has to be the Conservative Party handling Brexit, you have to PYSL.
It gets funnier. Just seen that Brexit could be delayed till 2021... :-)
Cuckoo.
Blackadder, Fawlty Towers, The Young Ones and Bottom.
Always make me laugh, no matter how many times I watch them.
No American comedies seem to appeal to my sense of humour, though.
Veep. Rewatching it now.
Ever Decreasing Circles and Dinner Ladies
I've watched Friends, Only Fools and Horses and The Office over and over but none of the other sitcoms mentioned here, never really watched any of them.
Fawlty Towers used to make me cry with laughter when it was first on but I now find it a bit too slapsticky.
'Til death us do part.
The IT crowd.
Wouldn't be allowed in these ultra PC days, Tilly.
( I'd watch it to ).
First time we watched Fawlty Towers, I could hardly breathe for laughing. I was 8 months pregnant and thought I would give birth, because I was laughing so much!
No Frasier fans on
here , apart from me ?
I liked Frasier to, Bazile.
Tonyav
A fan club of two on here then :-)
