I have tried to give Stephen Clements a chance but just can't warm to him!

I knew that Ellie and meant to leave you a post. Sad thing is like 3-5 is not a great time but for me I'm going to record him via my TV and then I can play him back in the mornings.
You know because of the timings - he will lose (I think) listeners as his listeners were of the older type. They Listened, housework etc in the morning then went out for the afternoon. And anyway he is only on to spring 2020 whatever that means.
What do you think - do you think he will lose listeners.

Yes, I think he will lose listeners for the reasons you have given. The time doesn't really suit me either but I will make a point of listening today so that I can send him a message.
S Clements (just realised that they have the same initials!) programme is obviously designed for younger listeners. I still think it's a shame that Sean isn't on in the morning. I wonder if there is a decline in listening figures but I suppose we'll never be told. I expect that Stephen has gained some new younger listeners.
Sorry, jenny, unfortunately I don't know of any other programmes of a similar nature to Sean's.

I am so enjoying Sean Coyle from the Foyle - my kitchen is spotless as I am wandering around with the headphones. I hear a lot of people are going to record him from the TV too but earlier on I thought some of the songs (being recorded) via my headphones were a little muffled so switched back to the radio - but I'll try again. Hope you enjoyed him Ellie - could you not record him too.
yes I know Ellie- I rang up and complained - whoever she was said she didn't have a clue what happened.
But, I did hear Sean say - "hopefully it won't be long" - the "said" lady said that the "news" that was on after Sean was 5-7 - now it is 4-6 - I'm believing that it is all to do with Brexit. Radio Foyle want the News to be their focus. HOPEFULLY then it will be back to Sean. I did say that Sean was being treated terrible and it wouldn't surprise me if he walked again. "she" said "oh no he is so happy to be back on the air". We'll see.

Thank you jj. I'm fed up with all these changes!
