but no doubt will be accused of it! On TV last night I noticed just how many gay couples were shown kissing (including in adverts) yet the amount of straight couples shown kissing during the same programmes/adverts was minimal. Do tv companies really think it is being pc to make a point of showing them kissing? Before anyone suggests I have a problem with this, yes I do - but not just gay couples I hate seeing public displays of affection from anyone!

As long as it's not tongues I'm OK with it:=)
That made me chuckle ladybirder, in a deep and manly way:-)
^He's showing off again. ;o)

//I think the intention is to leave the viewer in no doubt of the relationship between the couple.//

That's what it is. If they don't have a snog it could just be a couple of friends having a girly night in. They need to leave you in no doubt that it's a pair of raving lesbians.
pink pound: someone asked about gay jt incomes

good night all - blowing and bit chilly outside
men having a girlie night in
the very thought me makes me gag
um just quoting a post above
Those that have never noticed obviously did not watch Emmerdale,Corrie or Eastenders last night.

One of the Emmerdale lesbians asked her partner if she "was gagging for it" Strange ,because earlier they fell out. Must have rubbed each other up the wrong way.
One of my sons, 34, is gay and in a long term stable relationship.
I accept life as it is and how when it crosses my path.
What I find irritating is how forced inclusiveness and diversity is rammed down our throats.
Look at race. Check out all of the BBC news presenters and reporters. Undoubtedly very good at their jobs, and well spoken, but quite obviously picked because of their race.
Now it has spilled over into virtually every drama, and of course, advertising.
I really am not a phobe of any description, I just don't like these attempts at mind control.
The BBC is attempting to control your mind, Theland?
Says the man whose mind is controlled by a non existent god...... :-)
I don't understand what you mean, Theland?
Theland, they exist. That is not shoving anything down your throat... if it is, haven't you had enough of white men erm... being shoved down your throat?
Theland - // I really am not a phobe of any description … //

I think you'd like to think that. but evidence from your posts on this thread, and others, indicate otherwise.
Well. I'm not sure it's phobia but you definitely have issues, Theland.
I don't watch the Soaps mentioned and having found the Renault Clio Ad, I thought it well done and not overly sensational - the message was clear.
If your mind is easily rocked from its moorings then perhaps stop watching the News.

Mamyalynne do you think the car ad warranted it though? What had it got to do with persuading someone to buy one of their cars? I've also noticed (and commented on here before) just how many ginger haired people are in adverts these days!
