Hi

Can anyone help me here, re this satirical new show on BBC2.

The past 2 shows have featured a tall man with a beard doing one of the weather skits, and his voice is really familar..something maybe Radio 2 or 5. Or a voice over guy.

Can anyone put a name to the voice? I looked through the credits but nothing seemed to jump out

I think he is the "voice of the balls" on the National Lottery, he looks like him. I met him briefly a couple of years ago on Children In Need, he does voice-over for that too.

Ah that is Alan Deadicoat (sp) he is also a newreader on BBC2 with Terry Wogan so that would fit.

Thanx

Stop right there! It's not Alan Dedicoat! It's Jon Briggs. Yes, he does indeed do the trailers for Radio 2 (I know, until recently I thought Dedicoat did them too, but he doesn't.) Briggs is probably best known as the voiceover blokey on "The Weakest Link"... "but will the VOTES reflect the STATISTICS?!" Loads more of Briggs' rich tones at http://www.jonbriggs.co.uk
By the way, I think the bloke the guy tonymclark met was probably Mitch Johnson. Alan Dedicoat is a balding old chap who looks nothing like Jon Briggs.
