I quite like Si King, who seems to do most of the work, but Dave Myers seems to be trying to be the North East’s answer to Gregg Wallace.

Heaven forbid, one Greg Wallace is more than enough.
i like both, they are the only cooks i can watch on tv, i think they share the work equally, as to Dave he seems a nice man who is very watchable.
i love their touring series when they are off on their travels.
don't like Greg Wallace much,
They work well together and are very watchable.
Si used to live not far from us, he was a patient at the dentist where my daughter works and my daughter bought one of their books a few years back for my husband who likes cooking, she got it through the Book Club that went around businesses ,he just happened to be in for an appointment that day and happily signed it, my daughter said he's a true gentleman
Gregg Wallace isn't a cook to start with so what are you actually basing it on?
at least as Ummmm says Dave is a good cook. Greg is just a mouthpiece, for shows Masterchef and the like
I don't think Dave Myers is a Geordie; he's from Barrow-in-Furness.
ummm - probably the fact both seem to be annoying twits
i will rephrase that ummmm says basically no comparison, one is a cook Dave, and the other isn't Gregg
Dave Myers is Cumbrian
Si King was born in Kibbleworth, Co Durham
Yes but his married life was near me...till they divorced that is

Re Gregg Wallace, for all the old pony he talks about food you’d think he was the equal of Michel Roux.Dave Myers keeps talking which is rather irritating especially with the occasional silly voice.
Ah the joy of Wiki -Kibblesworth is in Tyne and Wear, not County Durham. Its south west of Newcastle.

I know Si very well, he is a good friend of my brother and he is a lovely man. Dave is equally as nice they would do anything for anyone, what you see on TV is what you get in real life.
i find him rather easy to watch, unlike Wallace who is hard work whatever he is on
thank Wiki for that then, because that's what is says -
Yes emmie thats what I said -"the joy of Wiki" and wind your neck in -I know where Kibblesworth is, I don't need to look it up .
some of don't live in the sticks - and yes i had to look it up
Gregg Wallace may come across as irritating as hell to many, but it seems natural. He's pretty successful, having started as a greengrocer who supplied many of London's restaurants and hotels.

As for the Hairy Bikers, they are one of the only tv cooks/chefs I never watch. They just don't appeal.
