//Sergio Leone offered Bronson the part of "Man with No Name" in A Fistful of Dollars. Bronson declined, arguing that the script was bad. Bronson was again approached for a starring role in the sequel For a Few Dollars More but he passed, citing that the sequel's script was like the first film.//
// how peculiar, he never has much to say does he?//
because he was so terrible - but looked OK. I think in Shalako he says nothing at all ( as an Indian brave ) - Brigid ( Bardot silly!) says very little besides - "zair eez no wot-air" when - er- there is no water.
I note he was born in Penn. - I thought he was a young east european refugee who made good - you know like the Ukrainians are having to do now
Charles Bronson was my grandads favourite actor. I preferred Clint Eastwood. The Sergio Leonie spag. western trilogy are 3 of my favourite films and also made great with Ennio Moreconies music.
