Tv ‘Comedies’ That You Just Don’t Find Funny - Old Or New.
Whilst channel hopping I stumbled across an old episode of 'Keeping Up Appearances'. Not sure how popular it used to be but I remember watching an episode years ago and thought it was quite funny, but today - I watched it and just couldn't believe that anyone ever watched it! Was just so, well, unfunny lol. Or is it just me??
Anyone feel the same bout any other programmes??

Not forgetting her pussy! 😀
It's true that many of the ageing sitcoms have not worn well. I watched the first episode of "Butterflies" (mentioned above) recently. I quite liked it in its day but now found it very dire - despite the efforts of Geoffrey Palmer, one of my favourite actors.
Reggie Perrin (in which Geoffrey Palmer played Reggie's brother-in-law, Jimmy Anderson) was OK for the first series or so, but got very tiresome, especialy after Reggie had left S_nshi_e D_sse_rts and opened "Grot". I notice there were only 21 episodes - somehow there seemed many more than that.
But, for the pièce de la résistance, we turn to "I didn't know you cared". They repeated this a couple of months' ago and I watched the whole lot:
Dark northern humour (which for a poncey southerner like me. is priceless) with a very odd family at the centre. Again, only 21 episodes, which wasn't enough.
