1970's childrens programme

hi all, i am looking for the name of a childrens programme in the 1970's i think with a teenage girl in who went out ( i dont know whether it was for adventures or not ) and she always returned back to a gypsy like caravan and her dad i think. sorry this is very vague but please can anybody else remember this programme? it wasnt heidi. many thanks.

It rings a bell with me also, but I can only think of The River which was a comedy programme with David Essex as a lock keeper who lived with his teenage daughter on a barge. but this was in the 1980's.

Kizzy is the name that springs to mind with me too. She had curly dark hair from memory.
