can any one remember this cartoon??

i cant remember the name of a cartoon i loved when i was a kid. now dont laugh but all i remember was, there was a boy and he was blue, he had a friend who was a girl and she was also blue. the went round on flying surfboard things that turned into animals when not flying.

they were followed round by small rocks of different colours. and they used to fight evil in what looked like a volcano.

this was on around 3ish after school, i was probably between 6 and 10 years old.

i hope someone has a good memory i am dying to find it again

i cant remember, it was either BBC or ITV in their childrens programs for the after school stuff.
i have been looking for this for ages and it is bugging me

i have looked at the website alibobs and it isnt there. but it brough back memories though.

the year was problably around 1985-1990.
i remember it being on before the mysterious cities of gold, because i used to watch them both before my homework was done.

i asked my dad because he liked it too, and he swears black and blue that it had "blue" in the title.

LOL and it wasnt the smurf's i didnt take drugs when i was that young, but i agree it would have been fun to watch
