ben fogle extreme dreams

hi i just watched ben fogle extreme dreams and they all got woken up in the middle of the night in the jungle cos 200 pigs were on the rampage....I have never heard of these pigs...does anyone know what they are called....appartently they are very nasty and destroy everything in its path...thanks

Probably just wild pigs Molly. Our domesticated breeds can be quite destructive so with a bit of feral attitude... well I wouldn't want to get in their way. Espescially not 200 of them.
BTW do you know wich jungle it was?

yes they are wild pigs but they gave them a name...and they really paniced when they knew they were comign so a little different from our pigs here I would guess....just wanted to know what the name of the breed was so I could look up more....

Hi completely of subject but can i ask how you came up with the name mollymoo? it tickled me as my puppy is called molly and me and the kids all call her mollymoo and she gets really excited when we do lol.

lo...with regards to the name...it is also the nickname of my dog as well.....she is called molly and we call her mollymoo when playing with her.....

tha animal sare called white lipped peccary and they do travel in very large heards.

i actually live in guyana and worked for many years for the company who organised the trip for ben. the area they were in I use to rund jungle survival and other extreme jungle trips. there are two types of peccary the collared peccary, smaller, less aggressive and smaller herds and the white lipped. they are bigger, travel in large herds, stink bad and grind their teeth when feeling aggresive. If they attach you need to get up a tree because although they have poor eye sight, if they do catch sight of you, the whole crowd attacks. they are probably the biggest risk to you in the jungle from any animal save the likes of mosquitos. anacondas, Caimen, Jaguar, Piranha all are very, very little risk, the peccary can be bad for your health. Easy to avoid though as you smell them a long ay off and all you need do is a climb a tree a few feet and you're afe and thankfully there are lots of trees in the jungle.

the local guys still hunt them with bow and arrow to put food on the table. our websiter has a few ******* of them i think. www.bushmasters.co.uk
