Did Kylie Minogue ever sing any songs from the Australian Police series "The Water Rats" and if so, what are they?

This bit of garden is north facing and in the shade and I keep watering it.

oh dear, 'tis a bit crozzled Lofty but your shady bit is lovely (so that's where my green chair blew off to). Glad I'm not the only one with a big garden yet still has things in pots everywhere.
I'm having one of those days...that should have said glad you arrived home safely neti, not hope...you're obviously safe or you wouldn't be talking to us. I walked around the house looking for something for ages this morning...it was in my hand. And what's this?! I've come back from the shops with flapjacks and yoghurts....way too healthy, I need help.

Oh Robbie, you sound like me - walking around looking for things you are holding!!
I love pots Robbie, they travel around the garden according to the time of the year, what I want to see grouped together, what I want to see from my window and my moods. I have to have plastic pots now because I can't manage to move the big ceramic ones any more.
I have pots because I am potty!!

Still no rain .It was a black as your hat an hour or so ago but it's gone over and we have hot sunshine again .
That looks a lovely shady spot Lofty .
My neighbour is annoying me by wanting me to cut my greenery( which is gradually going brownery ) back .He can whistle .It's not interfering with him .I don't want him and his noisy children to able to stare into my private space .
Sounds awful I know but I like to sit in the garden without being overlooked .
It's bad enough now with a bloody trampoline.Up and down they go ....now you see me now you don't ..For Gods sake .I shall be glad when they go back to school ..I've got GOB syndrome at the moment :)
Anyway I have my glasses thank goodness. I shall never go to Specsavers again .Apart from the fact that they like to divest you of mega money ,they have no interest in you as a person and it's like being on an optical conveyor belt .
My local optician was really helpful and for the sum of thirty five notes I now have a new frame fitted with my original lenses .

ooh, that's nice & cheerful shaney...I'd prefer not to be overlooked but at least my immediate neighbours are lovely. My poor friend over the back has 3 screamers living next door to her, I can hear them from my garden (she's riddled with arthritis & has migraines so really appreciates peace & quiet) & they've just had a trampoline. I told her that constant bad weather might not be a bad thing...
speaking of which, here's what we had 15 mins ago...you can see it bouncing

I wish it would rain here and clear the air .I'm beginning to feel a bit wheezy .
I'm even more cheesed off now .I had a five quid off voucher for Boots No 7 so when we were out earlier I bought some nail polish for 1.50 instead of 6.50 .Rush off home clutching my nail polish with glee.
Yesterday my bro brought me round a load of fruit and veg from his garden ,including cooking apples .
Now ,my nails have been in really good condition since I've been buffing them and I thought I would sit down this evening and polish them but in the meantime I decide to make an apple pie with said cooking apples .
Drag the pastry board out ..Snap ! One nail gone .Locate the rolling pin ..Snap ..two nails gone .The bldy pie is in now in the oven and I wish I had never started :))
So that's my bufferin ' and polishin' gone for a burton .
Well never mind I think Coast is on tonight so I can get a Neil Oliver fix :)

hello all, Shaney I am with you..I do like kids..but can never eat a whole one lol.
In the midst of sicking up dogs, unwell mil and various other domestic upheaval today has been a good day. Dogs are better, Mil is much better, upheaval doesn't seem to have the power over me that it usually does and I have had a Good Day...just wanted to register that fact and my gratitude before everything goes mammaries up again tomorrow. I have clean sheets on the bed tonight and since I was up from 1am to 6 am (slept on the sofa from 06.30 to 0930 ) this morning, I can hear their siren song
G'night and hugs to all

Evening biddies. I've got an idea, why don't we redirect jno's foxes to Shaney's neighbour's garden and everyone will be happy - well at least the foxes. Remember the Fox On Trampoline clip I posted a hundred years ago?
I never wanted a house but I have to say I'm envious of all your gardens. Wouldn't mind one of those, if it came with a gardener or better yet a new body. A huuuuuuge balcony would be ideal for me, with lots and lots of pots.
Speaking of pots I didn't find one big enough for the trellis (remember the trellis...) and then this back thing happened and now the trellis is still standing around like... like a suit of armour at some castle hotel... I'm not happy with the speed of my recovery but at least I managed to do some trivial shopping today so that's good - a scarf I've been wanting.
And then when I returned my favourite van in the world ('cept for Van the Man of course) was parked opposite from my entrance. It's the cuuutest little van you ever did see, from a place called The Chocolate Factory, which is a small factory and a couple of shops. I've never seen it on my street before but here's a picture of it I took earlier this summer, on the street where it "lives" (oh you'll see what I mean when you see it, it's very difficult not to humanise it): <3

Oh no ....For goodness sake don't direct any poor foxes into his garden .He'll have his mixer out and concrete them over like everything else in sight .He's already blocked off the landing window and the toilet window .He hammers and bangs about so much I'm beginning to think he's building a nuclear war bunker:)
Last time I went to Specsavers Woofy I got an optician who had come out of retirement because they were short of staff . She didn't exactly inspire me with confidence. I think her eyesight was worse than mine :)
The glasses were never right and I had to keep going back and having them adjusted as they were skew whiff. In the end I got fed up and changed the frames for some different ones .All an expensive hassle . I never had any problems with them in Wimbledon but they're useless here.
I'm pleased your Mum in law is better .Get a good sleep tonight xx
The apple pie was nice ,no nails found and Coast was fab! They were in Norway .In Lillesund ,Bergen, where they showed the fish market and Bryggen and they showed the Hardanger and Geiranger Fjords .All places I have been to and Neil travelled on the Hurtigruten.I really enjoyed it and it brought back memories of my time there .
Well I am off to bed so Goodnight all .Sleep well.

Booger it...couldn't get in here earlier, only the short threads out there. Must be all neti's shopping behind the door, it's about time you found somewhere to hide it mi girl.
I just love the dinky little van Kit, it makes me want to learn to drive. Is there a dinky little driver or some big bruiser who has to shoehorn himself in?
My favourite Yardbirds is Heart full of soul, it remind's me of sloping off into a coffee bar with my friends when my mum thought I was at dancing lessons...she went nuts, I s'pose I was bit young. Still hoping for the return of the cutesy animated video to the Zombies song Vin.
Well I can't stay long, I'm having my blue rinse this afternoon but haven't a clue why I'm bothering, there's rain, a howling wind & more rain...and I'm not off to sandy shores for some 'etc this weekend....
<I wasn't born yesterday ya know Vincent> :o) Have a great time!

Cheesus Crust, the hippie must have saved a fortune on the Specsavers/Glasses Direct combo! Sandbanks! Shall you be bringing your gentleman's gentleman? And, more importantly, are you sure they serve Beck's? Either way live it up Vinny.
vinny at specsavers
I've never been to Norway, Shaney, but I believe people are quite friendly there and some of the nature is spectacular so I've heard. What time of year was it when you went on the Hurtigruten?
Funny you should say that Robinia, about the van making you want to drive - I almost got on the phone to make inquiries about drivers licenses the first time I saw it! I started thinking about what kind of business I might run that would require for me to drive that van, ha ha... I've never seen it with anyone in it though, perhaps they just pick it up and drop it off on different streets as a sort of live commercial, ha ha... I almost expect to see it driving by without a driver, because it's so human, it should be out walking.
Speaking of nothing, have any of you biddies tried needle felting?

It rained last night ............for ten minutes and not very heavily.
So far today no rain, just a rather pleasant summers day and not to hot.
However, the wind has started to do it's thing and there are some dark clouds amongst the blue, so I am hopeful but not expecting too much.
Just got back from town in a bad mood. I only popped in to go to the bank and post a couple of letters and when I got back to the carpark a 4 wheel drive full of children, with no parent in sight, had parked so close to me I couldn't get back in my car - and I am not agile enough these days to even attempt climbing in from the passenger side and negotiating gear sticks etc. Eldest child says Mum had just popped into clothes shop to pick up some jogging bottoms. Twenty minutes later Mum turns up with no more than a quick smile and a casual 'sorry'!!
Bl00dy 4 wheel drivers!! - my son is one, but is courteous towards others.
