Did Kylie Minogue ever sing any songs from the Australian Police series "The Water Rats" and if so, what are they?

Welcome back Sweedie! hope you'll soon be fully functioning and I'm sure your hearing problems will improve when you're off the heavy duty drugs....<runs off to sever all connections between Sweden & YouTube>....

neti wouldn't it be easier to move to England rather than taking half of it back to Ibiza?

Hi right back at ya Neti, it's so lovely to imagine you having a good time with your sisters.

Sorry my sis doesn't seem to have said what was wrong me, that is, I'm sorry if you all worried about me more than you would have, had you known what was wrong with me. (I never know if I'm making any sense) Robi the paint-the-ceiling-beige lolcat was sooooo funny! But did you have to sever the YouTube connections before I could view your canoe? thingy? And as for the "sing it baby" link this was what I got - anyone understand what's going on? The copyrights restrictions I understand but that can't be it, this time.

Who's gonna tell Vinny about the "spider web"? (I thought my eldest sis and I were the silliest people in the world when it comes to animals, well I know better now but Vinny wouldn't it actually have been better for the poor little guy to stay at home?? Nothing against Exeter but the wind and everything? Or you'll have to get him goggles :) (or are you just winding our Neti up again)
haha, yep kit, we've all had 'I'll paint the ceiling' moments...or should I say hours.
to fill in the gaps...I'll start paddling my canoe was Jon & Vangelis - I'll find my way home

Sing it baby was a quote from Elvis... the funny laughing version of Are you Lonesome Tonight?

(both songs in my top 10 favourites)

In case you want to keep up I've just been listening to some Einaudi (piano) & Clannad/Paul Young - Both sides now......oh dear, no YouTube eh? That's a shame. :o)

Well I remember who liked Lisa Ekdahl very much the last time I posted her here... and it starts with an R and ends with an A... almost sure it was this one... I'm so misunderstood... (but I do know what you mean, like I said, it took me ten years...) I like that Vangelis song btw :)

Have to call it a night now, g'night y'all :)
aaaggghhh! dentist have asked if I want to fill in for a cancellation! ....and it's piddling wi' rain now...still, constipation's cured all of a sudden.....hahaha

later.....I hope :o/

Good moaning..!
tiz sunny now...a couple of hours ago we had one hell of a storm...the bbc said we would have wall to wall cloud yesterday...and it was hot and sunny...I give up..!Not me shaney..it was that speaker from the house of commons..he has a holiday down here every year..hope the shi$ehawks got him..hehe..! nope kipper..that spider thingy was true. But he's done a bunk now,I did see a Fedex lorry parked next door...I think he's on his way to London to do the tourist thingy...bloomin user...(:O)oi netti..have you been to the sovereign center..its great sitting by the marina having a nice cold lager watching the yachts .Carefull if you go to that cinema next door, the bu66ers try to search you for food and drink...stuff it down your bra..(:O)
Good luck robinia...yo quickly does a runner whoosh>>> (:O)
Q: How many out-of-joint back patients does it take to change a lightbulb?

A: Search me. More than one, anyway :'(

It was one of those 8 years of use bulbs, which sounded great when I got it - last year. I remember you Shaney warning us against a brand the name of which is reminiscent of the Queen's husband but that was the only kind available where I shopped so I bought it anyway and my kitchenette now looks prepared for the blitz , i.e. it's a blackout. Hell I can hardly cook in the light...!

Have to tell you guys, the first time I ventured outside, a couple of days ago, the first thing I saw when I opened my door was a Tesco carrier bag outside the neighbour's door opposite from me door across the stairway. Probably garbage waiting for their next trip to the bin, but it very much felt like a mysterious greeting from you lot. We don't have Tescos here and I've never seen their bags before so I did feel we were all "talking" even though I couldn't sit down at the puta and it comforted me :)

"Constipation's cured all of a sudden", let's hope they've got a loo at the dentist's then, Robinia...

<tries hard to whoosh>
[...] "me door"...? Am I talking casual British now? That would be nice! but I'm not all that Anglified yet I'm afraid, it's just my cut-and-paste editing skills not... erm... not being skilful.

Afternoon all, have jsut been to Seaford which is a little coastal village, very small so not much shopping done.

Yes Vinny I did the Sovereign Harbour thingy a couple of years ago, but I don't like it as when I was a teen it was a deserted baren stretch of land with the sewer works and a sea wall and I loved cycling there, so lonely and windy (it was my poetical period - not quite sure how the sewer got into it) I would spend hours there singing and amazingly I was never raped or murdered although it was a lonely place. In those days E'Bourne finished at Princes Park and the crumbles began - hate it now

<<Ah yes, the good old days>I/>>>
< < < < < < < <Robi goes flying past in the wind>

> > > > > Oh booger, here I is...
hmmmppphhh! You do 'em a favour, whoosh off to the dentist to fill in a cancelled appointment (mine should have been next week) and what happens when you arrive, breathless, wet & windswept to hell....? eh? eh? They tell you they're running late & 'You needn't have rushed'....!! An hour I waited, for a 15 min clean & polish. BHF! They scrape & buffer 'til your gums bleed...and then what eh?! They sell you some mouthwash for your bleeding gums....hahahahaha...If I don't laugh I'll self combust. It would have been quicker to pop dahn sarf and let Vinny run over me with his floor scrubber.

Long life bulbs?...won't be a long life when
I fall off the bloomin ladder trying to change one...I discovered recently that the last electrician who fixed a light fitting on the landing also shortened the cable by about 4 inches...pillock.

I'm going to lie down in a darkened cupboard with my bag of cstrds...don't tell the dentist.
I am desparate for some rain. I have been sitting in the garden whilst the wind gathered speed and some ominous clouds came over. I felt about two spits of water and it all cleared up again. I am fed up with watering my garden and I am fed up with being hot and bothered, I am fed up with my horrible neighbour, I am fed up with trying to get my ironing done, fed up, fed up, fed up.

Guess what ...................................... I'm fed up.

Nice to see you Swedie. Don't try and overdo things.

Robinia, next time you could try do-it-yourself........

Neti, I remember Seaford very well. Can remember how the waves used to come over the sea wall onto the road and what fun I thought it was driving through it with my Grandad in his old Morris Oxford. Actually, I have lots of fond memories of that part of the British coast, but I bet I wouldn't recognise it now!
Well fancy that Neti a friend of mind ,a lady I used to work with at the bakers , lived in Seaford .I went to see her and her husband when they retired there from London .Lovely little place .She now lives in Spain !
It's blowing a gale here and and very hot .No rain here yet either Lofty .It keeps clouding up but nothing .I got my washing dry pdq though .
Been to the doctors this morning .Got some steroid cream for the ulcer and some stuff to keep the skin hydrated He's very annoyed that my dermatology appointment is so long away .We only have two dermatologists to cover this area.He had a general moan to me about pen pushers and admin in the NHS and there being too many chiefs and not enough indians and was telling me that the A&E doctors at the hospital have to have a tracker system so that the "managers" know where they are at any given time. I ask you .
Anyway I'm glad you're feeling better Sweedie Those energy saving light bulbs are useless IMHO..We had them in the hall and landing and by the time they warm up you may as well stumble upstairs in the dark anyway.
I have a stash of normal lightbulbs that should last me until the last trump :))
You sound all lovely and smoothly buffed Robinia Say Cheese :)

LOL Robinia.

When did you steal my photo!! Now everybody knows what I really look like!!

Neti, I don't remember anything about Seaford, only the sea blowing over the sea wall! However, that was centuries ago - well back in the 50's!!

Shaney, it is now back to bright sunshine and I'll have to get the hose out again tonight. Our back lawn (well grass actually) is slowly going brown.

I'm just going outside to do a rain dance. Come and join me:

I was having a meal in front of the puta when I clicked your DIY dentistry link!!!!! <cauliflower may never be the same again... > Did you know we (as in Scanians but not as in me personally) actually eat blood soup =:O Goes by the name of Black Soup presumably so that little children won't leave home in search of new parents.

Been meaning to tell you Shaney that your posts often (well, recurringly) bring one of my old favourite songs to mind, when you mention towns' names nearby. It's the first one in this playlist, three score and ten
