Did Kylie Minogue ever sing any songs from the Australian Police series "The Water Rats" and if so, what are they?

I've noticed that that fabulous wistful woman is on her way to a shop called International Organs - ummmm!
They had two beautiful shire horses on Coast last night They were pulling a lifeboat along the cliffs somewhere in Northumberland I think it was .
When we lived in Wombledon you often used to see them coming along pulling the dray cart from the Youngs Brewery in Wandsworth.
I had a tour round the brewery with my quiz colleagues and they were in the old stables .Beautiful creatures .I think they've closed that brewery now though. It was like stepping back in time .The beer wasn't bad either .))

Oooh .. .. Absolutely Fabulous Robinia :)

I remember the horse well Neti. It was a landmark that brings fond childhood memories of trips to the see with my old Grandad and Nan. Only they weren't old then. Big family get togethers on all the Sussex beaches. Uncle had a hotel in Brighton and the whole family took it over at Christmas.

Talking of Wombledon, Shaney. My dad would take me to the Fox and Grapes after our Sunday morning walks on the common and we would sit outside the door on a bench whilst he had his beer. I have always loved the smell of beer, it brings back such lovely memories of my lovely dad.
Ha ha ha ha ha Neti! (And I loved the chalk horse.)

That's a nice photo Robinia. Is it the same town where you live now?
They have some lovely pubs round the common Lofty . I can remember the Fox and Grapes , I think that was on Camp Road ? The Hand in Hand ,The Dog and Fox and the lovely old Crooked Billet .It used to be lovely in the summer because you could take children and sit outside on the grass.
I presume they are all still there. Mind you with pubs shutting down at a rate of knots ..
yes Kit that's a tiny corner of Derby (it's a city if you don't mind, tut)...lol neti and next door, behind the Bass sign, is Pork farms!...I'm surpised no one made a Woman at Wakefields quip :o)

I'll sort the new home later or in the morning...this is all running too slow at the moment, keeps timing out...

oh I remember those pubs shaney, I think it was in the Hand in Hand that Oliver Reed's wife (Kate) helped mop up my excess of enjoyment - she was so sweet, first wife I believe!
hello all, facinating thread and filled up FAST! I am having a sleeping phase at the moment, took dogs out at 5 am yesterday, then slept 06.30 to 10.30 then 2 till 75 and went to bed at eight...I feel so much better for it but it has been something of an eventful year and i have spent quite a bit of it getting by on about 4 hours a night :(......and off i go to bed again
Ps have just got some super new jammies from QVC, lovely cuddly cotton jersey
Yep Shaney, the Fox and Grapes was in Camp Road. Dad went to Camp Road School. It is now an exclusive prep school and seems to be for wealthy arabs!! I know the other pubs you mention, but wasn't old enough to go to them. Left Wombledon for Bedfordshire when I was 15. Wimbledon is special to me because of memories of my Dad. He was a country lover like me and taught me loads about nature on our walks and cycle roads on the common. Mum loved cities!
