I know it's only fictitious, but the script writers are just so ignorant of how schools are run, what you can and can't do, LEA'S, etc. The whole thing is getting to me now!!! I watch it and am driving Mr LL nutty complaining about all the mistakes whilst I am supposedly enjoying watching it.

I used to quite like it. It is totally ridiculous now!

Anyone agree?

Hiya possums, this is where the Indian summer has gone to. My park that went so quiet outside my window has gone- ...well, not lively, but every day when I look out sure enough there's a few people having coffee at their tables pretending they're not longing for a woolly sweater. It isn't hot or even warm but the sun is putting in his daily appearance:)

Fozzie, yes I'll definitely pass that on, thanks Robi. Come to think of it, their old Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier male dog looked a lot like Fozzie (but his name was Bacchus:) Here are some piccies of the new Border Terrier puppy and their "old" Border Collie mixed breed:

Oh what a dear pooch .Reminds me of the dog I had between Mickey and Shaney .Scampi ..He was a border terrier .He slipped his collar on the Epsom Road and ran out after a cat on the other side .You can guess the rest :(
Shaneys name was Shane when we got him .We just added the EY .
Gotta go ..back later.
I bought one of tbose ecological washing balls, hope it works properly.

Daughter made a Keylime pie last night, so it is rather morish, quite delicious and a tad tart, yum!!!

Overcast here at present.
Am watching UB dead, my god, it's frightening! How could anyone be that bothered to be that awfujl!
well, OH has just returned from one of the Clarence House garden parties, where Chas and Camilla are promoting the virtues of recycling, with a shopping bag recycled from Clarence House curtains

http://i56.tinypic.com/28s7ct2.jpg

But it turns out it's a bit of a swiz and should be done under the Trades Description act. In fact the curtain in question wasn't in Clarence House at all, it comes from Buckingham Palace. I've a good mind to throw it straight into the bin.
Nooooo..don't do that Jno ..it's the ideal knitting bag .

Lol...I've just won another Bloomsbury Dictionary ...hahaaa.

Why is the text so light when typing .I'm having to peer at it .
Oh Goodness me ..our names come up in even brighter lights now .Sqad'll be down my throat even faster than a rat up a drainpipe now :)
Shaney that UB Dead was good.
<boing!>
I don't know why I said that, I've certainly got no 'boing' today....BP's up but the weight gain earned me a few points.

What sweet pics Sweedie, especially the one from the rear end :o) I know a plump lady who had a plump dog and from the back they had a similar look, they even walked in time. I don't think anyone would say I look like my dog.

Oh heck shaney, I think we'll have to borrow jno's bag to wear on our head when we go out there...well done on the prize, haha...shall I keep a look out on ebay? Is it bogof? :o)

Yes jno, I saw them preparing Clarence hse this morning on the news...were Chas & Cam wearing dungarees made from curtains too?
I don't think there's a panic to vacate at 500 anymore, it just makes us a bit more elusive I suppose. I'm ok to move whenever the next hostess is ready to send out the invitations....

I'll show you horror neti...somebody coloured 'em in...it wor Vinny

What lovely dogs Kit, have only just been able to open them. We had a lovely mongrel called Trampers way back in 1974, but he died of distemper, it was so sad, we vowed never to have another dog. "The Prettiest Star" by David Bowie will always remind me of him and still makes me cry!
Hi There Robi, eeekkkk, awful, tragic, disgusting..............................
Hi there, hope you've all had a decent day. It's been quite warm here, I even put a jacket on to go out but needn't have bothered. It was really warm.
I've discovered that the only questions I can put on are from 2006, they were the last 3 I did. (Everything else before that has been deleted except for the titles) and we've been to one of them but the others are contacting the ed so Robi thought maybe we would be discovered if we went there which I do understand so I can't help you with a new destination.
What lovely pictures Kit. The Border collie is just like the mother of my little Collie cross Shep. (Her name was Purdy).
I've had a lovely time in the City in Ibiza Neti walked up to the top of the hill and had some piccies taken there. (do you call it a castle up there)
I had a quiet day today. Sorted out some old clothers and took them to the Charity shop. We have 5 in our shopping area, and I ended up buying an umbrella from one.and a bag from another.
Just hope you don't get a peg stalker Neti :)
Yes ,it was very good .The actress who played the stalker was briliant but Tara Fitzgerald was so good . You could see her crumbling bit by bit after that awful womans onslaught and the bit where she turned up as a witness and broke down in the witness box ,they reckon was almost word for word from the real court case.

Light relief this evening .Lovely John Nettles ( make the most of him Robinia ) running round Midsomer as they drop like flies :))

Cure for high BP Robinia ....avoid the News section :) I sometimes feel like doing serious damage to some of 'em on there :)
<must run round the charity shops tomorrow to buy up all Jude's poodle skirts>

It's ok Jude there is a potential home, just no hostess at the moment...

Tell me about it shaney...and not only news. I'm no particular royalist but isn't that thread in cb a tad disrespectful?
Anyone over 60 of the female persuasion who is in the public eye seems to fair game for some of 'em Robinia . I rather like Camilla .She seems like a down to earth sensible woman who likes a drink and fag :)
I think she may be a bit shy and doesn't court the limelight but scrubs up well and stands up to her responibilties like most of us old gals on a good day :)
I told you this text is faint and I'm having to peer ....Responibilties ....Tut ...hang on I'll find me Bloomsbury :=o)
Seriously ,have you all got faint text in the answer box or is it me ?
no it doesn't look faint to me shaney, maybe it depends on your browser...see if you can swap your dictionaries for a state of the art puta.

Yes, I think Camilla is right for Charles..let's hope they have a fair few years together.
Yes another aye for Camilla, she suits him!

Sorry shaney, no faint test here, but having said that, I'm beginning to wonder!
*text* (so faint I couldn't see the error ha ha !)
I have to admit I am a bit of royalist .
I think the Queen at her great age is marvellous.
OK they have minions running about after them but she's a very stoical woman and she takes her role as Queen very seriously .
I would hate to have to get up every morning and schlep off to have to open this that or the other and make small talk to people .
But I'm afraid she's old school .Once she's gone it'll all be different .
