Why has it been removed ? Its a thread that people have been adding to every few days, so why can't it stay ?

miaaaow-wuffy-wussy, jourdain?
Rob is a very, very accurate description of a control freak. They destabilise you, make you doubt your roots and self until you rely on them for your view of the world and yourself. Then they get nasty and tough. Believe me, please....
Purrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, DTC!
According to radio 4 announcer - Rob gets into character at 7.00 tonight. Oooer!
MIKEY OR ANYONE CATCH UP REQUIRED :-) I missed a week at the start of September and it's obvious from here that something happened between Rob ad Helen that she didn't like, did he hit her or force himself on her or something. Can someoen give me a couple of lines so I understand why Helen doesn't seem to be quite so besotted?

Also, I've always liked Ruth but she's really irritating me at the moment. David ought to walk out :-)
Pride. As I understand it, Rob plied Helen with wine whilst maintaining that they were having a wonderful romantic evening while Henry was with his grandparents. At the end of the episode, Helen said "Rob" in a very odd tone, and we were left to imagine what he had done. I'm afraid my interpretation was that he had done 'something not very nice' but I don't want to spell it out. We haven't found out what it was but she has been very subdued and hasn't seemed too enthusiastic when he has suggested repeating the evening. She is pregnant, just found out.
Heard the other day that the poor chap playing Rob was booed at a literary 'do'!
^^^ Oops! Just read back, sorry!
Just realised I spelt Prudie's name as pride in my last post. Sorry!

Prudie....I think most of us interpreted the romantic evening as a rape....there...I have said it !

Rob is burrowing himself into the family and business like a cattle tick !
In my opinion I think it was a "contraceptive" incident. All the clues seem to point that way, and now that she is pregnant, and clearly not thrilled, I do feel it confirms what I was thinking before.
And Prudie, a bit Helly missed was that the morning after the 'incident' Helen was alone in bed sobbing while Rob was downstairs making a cup of tea or something.
I think we have our own section
And whilst we are at it - what about a theatre one too?
Talking of Rob - it seems on the Archers facebook page most people cannot wait for the storyline to finish as it un-nerves them
What sensitive souls they must be
Personally I love the way they have written Rob as some kind of Iago
I hope its one that will carry on for years
After Hazel Wooleys generosity over the village shop, I can see the Grundy's being made homeless in the near future.
It will, Ric-ror, or for some time anyway - there's a long way to go.
Melv, isn't there a flat over the village shop? The Grundys could squeeze into that for a bit if it is habitable.
What about the ferrets and Bartleberry, joudain? :-)
Question Author
The very last word that anybody could use when discussing Hazel is "generous" !

I wasn't fooled for one second the other day, when she appeared to back down under the onslaught from Peggy. She is planning something and the Grundys should watch out !
Oh Hazel - another character I hope will keep re-appearing
Question Author
Rob is one of creepiest blokes alive !
